The God Project.

NO! It is not dead: I'm waiting for another person to post based off of the current story. TJgamer, THAT WONDERFUL PIXY GUY!, Dimeticato, LordSephy? If any of you post we will move on. I just need one of you to post your best idea on how to break open the metal door. If none of you post here soon, this thread will sadly die in a horrendous malnourishment of posts... :'( Don't let it die!

{Here is my first post. Please know that if anything in this post isn't done accordingly to the actual story, please tell me as soon as possible.}

It was very exciting when Professor Oak told Perry the details of the secret area that is hidden underground. Imagine that, an area filled with answers to the most well known legends.
Earning badges and catching Pokémon is cool, but solving a paranormal mystery ought to be an adventure Perry will never forget.
Perry didn't mind (much) about having a group to be with him throughout this expedition, but he is usually quiet around strangers. But perhaps he could make new friends this way....maybe.
Soon they arrived at ruin doors that led downward.
("This may have been here for thousands of years...maybe more!") He said in his mind.
Upon entering the doors, the group found themselves in an old styled room filled with old furniture, cobwebs, and in the center of the room, an old statue of Mew.
Perry read the inscription on the plaque that was on the statue, which read:

The God Project.
Knowing the Unknowable.

("Hmm, I wonder what that writing has to do with Mew?") He thought.
For an instant moment, he thought of touching the statue, but he instantly dropped the thought. The statue would probably crumble with a single touch due to its age.
Turning his head, Perry looked around and was surprised to see one of his group-mates was looking at the ceiling standing on an Onix.
("Woah, what a brave trainer!") He thought to himself.
Soon the trainer slid down the Onix's back and started to talk to the girl that was with them.
Again, Perry rotated his head all around the chamber and suddenly noticed a metal door at the far side of the room. Perry quickly decided to investigate.
He tiptoed towards the door and slowly put his ear to it. It was futile though; he couldn't hear anything through such a solid door.

What are you going to do? It can only be opened from the other side. There is a broken window, but the crack is much to small for a person to crawl through. I'm sick of waiting, so whoever can put this together can post it next and open the door. Also, if I'm not mistaken specific Pokemon can walk through walls...

Ever so gently, Perry put his hand on the handle and started to turn it.
But once he turned it all the way, the door wouldn't budge; it was locked.
("What to do now...") He said to himself.
In an instant, Perry remembered an old incident he was in about a year ago. He once walked outside to check on his dad's bird feeder and shut the door behind him...while the door was locked. His parents were out so he couldn't get anyone to open the door. But there was still his Pokémon, he took out his Gastly (his Haunter before he evolved) and it went through the door and unlocked it for him.
("I'll do just that.") Perry decided.
He took out a Pokéball from his pocket and clicked it open. Right in front of him appeared Perry's Haunter friend.
"I need your help. Can you go through this door and see if you can open it on the other side?" He whispered to Haunter. He didn't want to disturb anything, especially in an old room like this.
Haunter shut his eyes for a moment and then suddenly responded gleefully.
"Haunter, haun haun." The ghost Pokémon said and it gave Perry a little lick.
("Heheh, I guess he remembers that situation back at home.") Perry said to himself.
Haunter then faced the door and slowly disappeared into it.
Perry squatted down and waited for the door to open.
The suspense was killing him. Who knows where it leads or what is behind it.

PART 2. THE TERRIFYING MESSAGE, AND THE LEFT OR RIGHT QUESTION.

*click*

*SQUEAK!*

The giant metal door pushed open with a loud screech. The metal scraped across a littered white linoleum, and showed the way into a dirty horizontal hallway, which seemed to stretch on forever. The door's opening activated an archaic generator, and the lights started to flick on. The halls lights were a dark and dirty brown. The left showed thousands upon thousands of labs, and sprouting hallways. The right showed a similar image, but the hallway got wider later on and the lights were flickering more rapidly.

When you immediately enter there seems to be some sort of large Computer built into the wall. There were 3 small screens (one cracked) all on top of one large screen. A strange array of wires, and microphones poked out of the Computer. You all curiously study your surrounding, when suddenly all of the screens (minus the cracked one which just goes to an odd static) come to life. You see on the 2 top screens security footage. On the largest one there is a man, whose age seems hard to tell. He seems to be part Asian, part English. His hair is a grey and speckled with black. His face seems harsh, yet kind. His look is simply... odd. He starts saying the following message:

"Yes. It is I, Dr. Shigeru Hiyonota. This is not a live feed mind you, but don't get me wrong, I've got my eyes on you when it is here. You are very persistent, but I can understand. What piggies sent you now, hmm? The C.I.A.? The N.P.A.? Or was it the crazy anarchists of the Elite 4? No matter. I think you'll find it hard enough to leave. I know people have been concerned with our work, and people have been curious since the ASdfgwg epnsvr aeAERGTgn, but you may not come in no matter the circumstance. I shall have you know that although you may want to know the answers right away, take this into consideration. Tell whoever sent you that the answers to life DO lie in here, but if we gave it to them now, all of society would collapse. You know it, they know it. Religion would be useless if we knew everything. There would be riots in the streets. Even if the answer is true, people are stupid creatures, who believe what they want to believe. So go on, explore all you want, but you'll never get the answer. Not even when it is here..."

Suddenly the strange man holds a gun to his head, gives a grin, and shoots. He is now out of the camera, yet it is still rolling.

"................................................................................................................................................................................................................
.........................................................................................................................................SCREEEAAK!!"

A creature pops on to the screen instantaneously, and the footage finally goes to black. On one of the security monitors, a man in a labcoat cautiously walks through the halls before suddenly getting devoured by a similar creature. It goes to fast to tell what it is, but it is certain that is bad. The creature jumps to the camera and tears it down. The last screen just changes to the words "When it is here..." You are terrified, but then you all hear a crazy ravenous laughter through the halls, seemingly coming from every direction. You are all scared out of your wits, and discuss this with your partners. You must now decide if you go left, or right. You may split off into groups, and as long as you are with somebody, you should be safe.

YOU ARE NOW IN THE GOD PROJECT.

YOUR STAY IS PERMANENT.

DO NOT LET ANY GOVERNMENT AFFILIATIONS HERE.

IF YOU SEE A GOVERNMENT AFFILIATE KILL THEM. THIS IS MANDATORY.

IF YOU SEE A NEUROTYPICAL PLEASE TAKE THEM TO ISOLATION CHAMBER #19.

DO NOT ENTER ISOLATION CHAMBER #19 UNLESS YOU HAVE THE PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR REQUIRED.

Sorry Trainer Kristoff, but all the spots are taken. If somebody leaves you can join though! BTW, everybody should carefully study the last post! Now I want 5 of the 6 people to post before we continue!

"Thanks, Haunter." Perry said as he patted the top of Haunter's head and then returned it to his Pokéball.
He and the others walked through the doorway, which led them to a long, long hallway.
One went to the left, which had many scientific equipment. Likewise to the right, only bigger.
And right up front was a set of screens. One large one and three smaller ones above it.
Perry had his full attention to the largest screen, which showed a grey-haired man.
The man on screen suddenly spoke, saying his name, Dr. Shigeru Hiyonota. He then continued to give his message, which sounded very ominous.
Without warning, he pulled a gun, pointed it at his head with a smile.
("H...H..He's not...going...to...!") Thought Perry as he nervously saw the screen.
But he did. The doctor fired and fell off screen.
Perry nearly leapt off his feet in reaction! Next second, Perry stood as still as a statue, looking at the screen.
....Then..."SCREEEAAK!!"
A scary creature suddenly burst in front of the camera's view!
This startled Perry so much, he fell on his backside.
The screen suddenly went black. Perry looked at the other security screens and saw one of them showing a lab man walking down the halls. Then the same creature from before attacks the man and begins to devour him.
Perry instantly shut his eyes, unable to stand the terror.
Once he heard it end, he peeked his eye open and saw on the screen, "When it is here...".
Perry got back on his feet again and stood closer to the group. This was not like a horror movie of any kind. It really happened!
("...Which way...would be a good way?") Perry thought to himself as his heart was still beating rapidly.

Angela heard the heavy metal door screech. Something was happening! She was close at Perry's heels as he went through the doorway, padding along almost silently. He didn't seem to have noticed her. Angela wondered where the rest of the group had gotten to. Fallen down a secret trapdoor, maybe?

Catching sight of the screens, Angela immediately pulled out her camera for snapshots, but dropped it with a start when they came to life, and watched silently through the short clip of film, her eyes wide. When Hiyonota pulled the trigger, she let out a short scream. The scenes of violence that followed only elicited a twitch of the shoulder. And the hysterical laughter freaked her out so much that she started backing up, back through the hallway. Blood was pounding through her temples. The laughter seemed to be booming from the walls themselves.

When the noise fell, she managed to take control of herself and head back to where Perry was. "Cheap tricks," Angela was thinking. "Cheap Hollywood horror movie effects." She was only trying to convince herself that her nerves weren't completely shot.

Rejoining Perry in the hallway and picking up her camera, Angela stood with the rest of the group [ assuming there is a 'rest of the group'... ] and looked at each member. How frightened were they? Were they still in the project? The doorway was blocked, but anyone could stay in the lobby if they wanted to.

They looked alright. She took a deep breath and tried to speak nonchalantly. "Okay, guys. Here we are. This is the God Project. Where do you want to go next?"

Tech looked around two others were headed into a room. There was a huge computer thing. He turned to the girl he talked to before. "I wish this was a movie. In a movie a piano or something would block the wrong way." He smiled and called out onix. There was hardly any room left. "Sorry guys but i don't feel safe with out my powerhouse out." Onix crawled down a hallway a bit giving them some room. It all so unblocked techs view of the other trainer. He walked over to him, wishing he didn't have half his lip missing and put his hand out. "Hi, im tech."

Vico was inside, no where to go, he simply stared at the Mew Statue in the middle, but he ran in the moment he heard a loud, ear-piercing, screeching noise. He ran in to see what could have caused it. But he noticed something on the way which made him stop and back up. There was a table. It didn't have anything on it besides, strangely enough, a screw and a pencil. The pencil seemed normal enough, pencils are pretty common, but the screw seemed out of place. Why would someone leave a screw next to a pencil on a table? They didn't seem connected, screws and pencils are different things. And that's when Vico noticed a paper hanging about the desk. He read it silently to himself and it freaked him out a bit. Not into a running, screaming panic, more like a sweat rolling down your cheek in fear. What could be behind those smudges? They seem like someone smudged it deliberately. And what could the 'long set of punishments' be? He decided that these might come in handy so he put the screw, the pencil and the memo in his pocket for future use.

And that's when Vico finally remembered the screeching noise he ran in here for. He saw the large door that the others were at. He saw that there were 3 computer screens on the other side of the door. One of them read something on it.

'When it is here...'

Interesting. 'What the heck is it?' Vico thought to himself,' And what will happen when it is here? Will it kill us? Is it the long set of punishments the memo talked about?' The other two screens were broken and there were two hallways, one heading left and the other one going right," So now the question appears...

Left or right?" Vico said out loud.

Onix turned to the noise hitting tech. "Gee thanks." He mumbled returning his pokemon. He brushed him self off and stood up. There was a new person now. Wait just how many people was he going to have to split the money with? "Hi" He mumbled to the new person. "I think we should split up, half of us go one way and half the other." Tech looked around. I would rather not go with some one weak. "So umm who wants to go with me?" He asked with a hint of a smirk.

OOC: what bit did you find confusing?

:t317:

{ Money? There's prize money? I don't remember that being mentioned. }

"Wait," Angela interjected. She had watched enough horror movies to feel uneasy when Tech suggested splitting up. "Why do you want to split up? Why not stay together? For safety, you know. It's not like we have walkie-talkies. This place seems pretty big. If we split up, we might not find each other for days."

{ Girl? Tech, Angela's almost twice your age. *__* }

Angela crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at Tech with her best older-sister frown. His cheerful demeanor suggested a complete lack of sensibility. No way she was going with him if the team did split. "Why are you in such a hurry? Better safe than sorry, right?" She turned to Perry. Maybe he would have more sense. "What do you think?"
