The Halloween Haunt, Two-Thousand and Ten Zombies

I don't have halo but someone has to make an event like that and call it haloween.

Scary writing contest you say sounds quite interesting.
 
I've got an idea, but IMO not a very good one, just thought the community might want to hear it.

Spooks and crafts

Basically, users send in photos and pictures of stuff they made that resembles Halloween. This could range from gory hand cakes to paper mache spooky models and even best costume. What do you all think? Good, bad or just a spin off Haunted Photography run by Forever?
 
Well we could bring that into horror photography and have three categories of something (for each day of the get together).

Something like your idea being a category, then the main hooror photography in general a category and something else. Then there can be a winner each day? :D; Idk.
 
Yeah sounds about right. No idea for last catagory, unless you're willing to split my idea further though xD

EDIT: Scary videos? Just thinking of scary music and Thriller popped into my head, and something clicked inside me, that could be the third catagory xD An idea, possibly foolish, but hey.

Okay! How about...

Day 1: Name Pending: Take the creepiest picture you can to scare the judges, this can be of anything, but has to be scary.
Day 2: Spooks and crafts: Take a picture of something you created, or someone else created (man made) that is about Halloween - it could be a Pumpkin you sculpted, or a costume, anything.
Day 3: Name Pending: Take a picture of something that resembles Halloween best to you - whether it be witches, black cats, or whatever.

Aaand scary videos isn't actual photography. XD It's just um, filming.
 
I kinda thought videos would be rejected xD Ahh well. The three you've chosen sound cool, so I'm happy with them :)
 
Uhmm, what about Halloween Mask Making? You just, like, make a scary mask, then take a picture of it. After that submit it and it'll be up for judging. :D

^ Anything involving taking a picture would come into that, lol. For the mask, that is.

Me: owner of CP thread, Site admin.
Not Me: I'm running my own site so there is a slim chance something might happen over there and might drag me away from here for a bit.
AceDragonite: Host of first ever CP contest and helped bring The S's pasta's into the world, is the top poster on the CP forum, will prbly be an mod when we assign some.
Not AceDragonite: He already hosted the first pasta competition.
560cool.: was the first guy to want to be the host :P
Not 560cool.: He's only young (if his age is true) so it should be harder for him to judge.
 
I think we should do somekind of gameing event on PS3.

3. I consider myself completely qualified of hosting this. I hosted the Anime Snap contest back in August with Hiiro and Skip Shot and it turned out well, we had many people wanting to participate, etc.

So yeah, I think I can host. And this isn't meant to be mean, but it has happened to me in the Internet before.
I just don't want to lie about my age. :(
 
Wow calm down guys im not trying to discriminate again you because of your age and im sorry if you found it offensive. But when i read a pasta i look at all the writing techniques the writer used that i learned whilst doing GCSE's (never thought they'd come in handy) and to be honest its more likely that a younger member will be scared by a story than an older one.

@explorer of destiny *sigh* I really want to go beserk here, but I am not discriminating you at all for your age, if you actually read my post, I said it didn't matter and that no one should be excluded. Same goes for Yutohru, I'm just trying to create order here, is that so bad?
