    (Note to mod - I decided to revive the original Harry Potter club, since the old one has seemed to have died. And the owner, Phoenix Boy, has left PC, so there was no one to own or check up on it anymore. So i thought i'd put up a new one. Hope thats s'okay. Thanks.)

    Hmmm... well what your friend heard will have been a rumour Jolteon. JK Rowling has not confirmed anything about the next book apart from the name of it's title. Harry's death is a rumour going round at the moment, and it's also a theory. I for one don't think he's going to die in The Blood Prince. I mean think about it, would the last book really be Harry-less? How would the story be told properly if Harry was dead? o.O; It wouldn't work. If he did die, i'd be more than gutted though.

    I have recently come to belive, although not liking the idea, that Harry may die in the last book. Many, many, fans think he will die defeating Voldermort, so basicly sacrificing himself as a hero. This theory was first thought of after the part in GoF, after Voldermort killed Cedric Diggory and his and Harry's wands connected. The saying in the book about how 'Neither can live, while the other dies' says it all. Doesn't that mean that because of the connection between Harry and Voldermort, if Harry was to kill him then he would die too?
    I am dreading the thought of this happening, cause i really don't want Harry to die in book 7. It would be a stupid ending imo. Okay so it's the heroic thing that happens alot, the hero sacrificing himself, but doesn't Harry deserve to live? His parents and Sirius are already dead. If Harry died at the end of Book 7, i swear i'd be in tears, and i'd chuck the book out of the window. I'd never forgive JK *lol* Yeah, i just don't want it to happen. Too sad ;.;

    In response to your post, Tatt, about Harry dying in the last book, I think it's totally untrue. First off...a lot of fans would be really sad!

    Really though, this is what I think is the reason.

    I don't think Harry will kill Voldermort.

    I mean, think about it. I read a really neat blurb about this on either this forum of the Lexicon, and I totally agree with them. If Harry killed Voldermort, then he would be no better than the Dark Lord. Dumbledore mentions many times that Harry's mother sacrificed herself for Harry because she loved him. Harry will most certainly defeat Voldermort through love. It only makes sense, after all. Harry will probably try to kill Voldermort, and remember that neither of them can live if the other dies, so he will use love in some way to defeat him.

    At least, I hope so...I would hate to watch Dan die in the seventh movie! :(
     
    I would love to join the HP fan club. I've read all the books and I can't wait untill the next movie and book come out. I agree with Skye. I too have heard the rumors that Harry is to die but i hope its not true but i could be wrong just like Skye would be wrong if Harry did kill Voldermort. But lets hope for the best.

    As for Harry killing Voldemort of vice-versa... I don't believe either will happen. Surely love will conquer....

    I don't think I could watch if Daniel dies in the 7th movie.... I'd cry! I'm in love with him, ehehehe!
