Nah if he died next year then that would put a serious dent in the sequels
As far as i know JK said that Hermione should be watched carefully in the last few books.
I think HP will die last book - sad but its up to JK

Now the book is a different story as i seem to be more attacked to the characters in the books to the movie

Fav characters - Hermione[in the movie 2 - lol she's hot], Harry and Ron
Fav magical creature - dragon[outside of the books the chimera]
Fav lesson - potions [all the action happens there]
Fav animal - hedwig [she's so white]

so out of ten how would u rate the Harry Potter books and do any other books that u know out rank it.
for me i give Harry Potter 10/10 but i am also a lover of The Silmarillion and so i give it a 10/10.
 
Looks like it had been revived. I was going ot join the old one but it die. I would be more than happy to join this one. I have read all the books so far but it had been a while and some of the details are fuzzy for me. I think i need to go re read the books.
As for the death of Harry well i'm not going to think any thing on it till the book gets out and i have a chance to read it.
I was not to happy with the last move. I mean the movie if you look at it all by is self was a good movie but when you compare it to the book then not so much. I think they cute some stuff out they should have not. The new derector did not do a good job when converting the book to movie in my mind.

I would have to disagree about the film. Though I could have done with a much longer, more epic film, the director did have the standard time limit, and I think he did a brilliant job with what he had. I was really quite impressed, because the film could stand on its own, despite the details it omitted. The overall undertone was much darker than the past two films as well, which I really thought was a good call on the director's part.

For me, I watch the films to get a general picture for the book, not to see the nitpicky details in action. It would be impossible to make the Harry Potter films exactly like or even really close to the books. You just really can't capture something so magnifficant perfectly on film.
 
Oh! Harry! ^^ Mesa Shall Join! XD. Who do you guys think is the HB Prince? Personally, i don't think that it'll be a new character, since that'd be kinda stupid, to introduce a character that late into the books X_X anyway, I'll post that info-thingy XD.

I don't think Harry will kill Voldermort.

I mean, think about it. I read a really neat blurb about this on either this forum of the Lexicon, and I totally agree with them. If Harry killed Voldermort, then he would be no better than the Dark Lord. Dumbledore mentions many times that Harry's mother sacrificed herself for Harry because she loved him. Harry will most certainly defeat Voldermort through love. It only makes sense, after all. Harry will probably try to kill Voldermort, and remember that neither of them can live if the other dies, so he will use love in some way to defeat him.

At least, I hope so...I would hate to watch Dan die in the seventh movie! :(

Skye, i just have to say, that was a REALLY good post. It's made me think more about it, you made some great points. I agree with everything you said, if you know me i am mad about Harry so i tend to panic about these death rumours *lol* *sweatdrops* I know what you mean Skye and Mew, i'd hate it so so much to have to watch Dan die in the last movie... ;_; Okay so he's not really, but i'd probaly end up crying, cause i love him as a actor and Harry as a character. We just have to hope that this rumour does not come true... i do have confidence in Harry not dying, there's alot of philosophical thinking involved in the plot of HP.

Estrella Oscura, i 50/50 agree with you on that. I was very dissapointed with PoA about alot of things, the Hogwarts cup match and the storyline behind the marauders not being there for one. I really hated it that the movie could not be longer, and they cut so much out. I was also really fed up with Alsonso the director, because from the outdoor scenes like near Hagrid's hut, you could see they've changed the structure of the Hogwarts grounds. Hagrids hut is cramped at the end of a sloping hill, and the scenery has defenately been changed from the first two movies. I was kinda PO'd about that because it just didn't look right in PoA. At the end of the day though, us HP fans just have to accept that the movies could never live up to such a great story *sighs* The movies good be better, but they could also be worse.

Goes the rumor that snape will fall in love with a bad witch, in a boook like the 6 or 7.

What do you think of it? it seems weird but personally i think it's real.....

I never trust rumors, but I think it on't happen anyways. Snape has shown his true loyalties, even if he is a rathe nasty character. My personal theory is that he and Harry will wind up friends somehow.
