The Hunger Games Challenge

    Welcome, welcome, so it seems as if you've [stumbled] upon my Challenge! All I have to say is:

    Happy Hunger Games.

    Now that I've got that whole Effie Trinket thing out of the way, let's get on with the rules, shall we?

    Rules
    1. You MUST have Twenty-four Pokemon by the fourth Gym. Those are the only Pokemon you can recieve throughout the whole game. No more catching any after.
    2. After the fourth gym, you must sell all your Pokeballs.
    3. No legendaries.
    4. Once a Pokemon faints, it's to be released or put in the PC.
    5. No using Pokemon Centers or PokeMarts for healing items. Healing items are fine IF, and only if, you find them on a route, town, cave, etc. Consider them gifts from the sponsors.
    6. The Challenge ends when you beat the Pokemon League[R/Y/B/FR/LG/R/S/D/P/Pt], Beat Red[G/C/S/SS/HG], or Steven[E].
    7. If you're last Pokemon faints, game over, restart.

    Simple enough, right?

    If you want to take the Ultimate Challenge, here's the additional rules.

    Ultimate
    1. All the normal Rules.
    2. You must complete the Challenge on a game from every region.
    3. The twenty four have to be specific types, following the Districts. The Spoiler tells what type for each District.

    I can't dedicate much time to this, but I'll take it on.

    Ultimate?; No (though I went with the typings and genders from ultimate.)

    I used a random pokemon generator for my 24 (to simulate the reaping). It came out as follows (I've yet to check genders, so it may need correcting):

    I assume since the typings are so specific we are allowed to hack in eggs/level 5s? If not I cant really do this challenge, since getting those types would be impossible.

    Edit: Also the team posted above is exactly the Pokemon that came out the generator, I will obviously be starting with their pre-evolved forms
     
    After reading the story not too long ago I'm signing up. I think I can take a 4th challenge :D

    I'll echo here and ask if we can trade/hack in Pokemon towards the beginning of the game? I did use a random Pokemon generator for mine, and I don't think most of it is actually possible since most of them are from other regions.

    Here's how I'm going to try and play it (This is just in theory, it might not work in practice.) After each pokemon in my party completes a battle (Whether it be wild or trainer.) it gets sent to the end of my party. After all six have battled, I write down their health, heal them in the pokecentre and get a new team. When it cycles back around to pokemon I've already used before, I subtract whatever health they lost in their first battle. So if a pokemon lost twenty health points in its battle, whenever the pokemon gets to 20 HP (Unless I use a found potion.) that will count as their death.

    After District One, each district's pokemon will be one level lower than the one above it (Every pokemon will be in it's final form though.)

    I found it interesting that I got the fire starter form Gen I, the grass stater from Gen II, and the water starter from Gen III.

    HG Challenge - "The Reapings"

    Ok, now I'm gonna choose (reap) my Pokemon (Tributes) for the 1st Annual Samurott01 Hunger Games! You'll notice that I will only choose Pokemon listed in the certain region's (arena's) Pokedex.

    The Pokemon for District One were randomly picked, while I chose the others.

    EDIT: Okay! So, I looked up "pokemon leaf green online" and now I'm apparently playing Pokemon Green (the actual Japanese version)! So, that changes things! Is it okay to do that?

    EDIT (AGAIN): Actually, I found Pokemon Blue on the same website and Blue is the same as Leaf Green in a way.

    My last and final update. Good challenge, even though I spent about 20 hours just grinding to make sure I didn't die.

    So yeah, I finished the challenge. I only had one Pokemon left after I got through the Elite Four that was trained. I had a handful in the PC, because I just didn't like them.
     
    Hey, sorry 'bout the lack of updates but I've been VERY busy with school work. Anyway, sorry for the false alarm, but this is NOT an update. About the whole online thing, I decided against it. I will just use my [broken] computer to play it and hack in the Pokemon that I can't obtain by the SECOND gym. Well......
