The Incredibly Wandering Thread (V1)

Haha that kind of reminds me of when everyone in my school used to make fake cards. XD We'd just doodle them on paper and make up the attacks and stuff. I think we'd actually use them when we "played" the game. (None of us took the time to learn to play properly until that TCG Gameboy game came out so we made up the rules before then.)
You made fake cards?

We had actual fake cards. I think more people had those than real ones. They were thinner, made of a different material, and came in it's own little case. Better value than the real cards XD

I had some of those too. I was the only one who had that particular kind of fake though. Probably 'cause dad picked them up from Toronto on a business trip, lmao.

do you still stalk the threads I post in?

Haven't for a few years XD

You mentioned the wandering thread on Twitter. So, I looked on the front page and it just so happened that you were active there. :p

One of my friends got me fake cards for my birthday once. Laaaaame.

I was one of the few with the real cards.

Haha, well, it still seems like it sometimes. :[

I didn't have many cards as a kid. v_v They were always sooo expensive. My parents were more lenient with my brother too. <_< He didn't have an allowance yet so they bought everything for him. So we'd walk into a store and I'd be able to afford two packs and he'd get like 6.

I remember making fake cards. I would trace the actual picture, but then put my own attacks down. XD I was, like, 7 so they all sucked.

When Pokemon was at its height in America, I had a deck, but I never was any good.

Most children all over the world have a deck of their own, including me. I have old ones that have lost, and new ones(DP) I kept. I love collecting them.

I owned so many of the Pokémon Cards when I was younger, and I still have some put away. I just never understood how the battle system or the card game worked.

I only get confused with the Trainer Cards because I don't like reading them. XD

. . . This is still here?! XDD It's been here for a few hours now.

It's here again? xD
I believe the last time I posted in this thread was when it popped into this section last time :D
I remember how we used to play the card game back in the old days, we just drew random cards, flipped them over, and the Pokemon that had the most HP, won.
(Unfortunately I used to play with a Diglett... :< )

Lmao. :( Sounds similar to how I played.

But then that TCG game came along and ohohoho I became a master card player.

Or I figured out the basics and got really good at cheating in the GB game. Something like that.

Nobody ever played the actual card game in my school :C Everyone just traded stuff until they got banned because too many were getting stolen and making kids cry.

I've beaten Snap, Stadium 1, and Pokemon Channel. Not too proud of that last one since it proves I had no life in grade... 8 or whenever the hell that came out. It was sooo boring. XD;

I don't own any of the other GCN or Wii games so I haven't really played them. :[ I dunno if you could count Puzzle Challenge as beaten. It has no plot or anything, haha.
