Hehe... I got to this thread by using the post I made earlier in the thread... Now, on with the HG/SS hype:

Porygon will be a pain to get, and the only times I ever got Porygon pre-D/P/P were in Pokemon Yellow and Crystal, and that was from buying coins. But at this point, hey, a Porygon is a Porygon, and Porygon is my favorite Pokemon!

...And I suppose Lugia/Ho-oh are interesting too, but I never got the hang of Lugia, and Ho-oh is already heavily used in competetive gaming...

Mhh right, I've never seen a Porygon in the wild =D
Well from the new artworks I actually love Lugia more than Ho-oh. Also I don't like the new girl much. They should've kept Kris.

??? What is this thread?
Anyways, it seems people just say stuff about the remakes, so that's what I'll do.
I love how there's now weather in Johto- well, wind. It's blowing in the direction of Indigo Plateau, and the slogan for New Bark is ''A town where winds of new beginnings blow''. Well, something to that effect, anyways. It's very fitting that wind is blowing there.
Also, it means that other towns and cities in Johto will recieve weather effects. Yeah, it's expected, but i wonder.. After playing ShinyGold, i keep expecting Ecruteak to be rainy, but it wont. I don't know...
Also. I'm looking forward to the daily Pokemon, such as Lapras, and... Well, i can't think any. Is Lapras the only one, yeah?
Lapras > Drifloon, that's for sure..

This is a pretty cool thread, I haven't seen an idea like this on a forum before. :O

I know that it's extremely unlikely, but I'd like for some details about the games to be shown at E3 at some point.

It would be a shame if Nintendo didn't show anything new about HGSS at E3 tommorow. Gamefreak and NoA both need to stop pretending as if Pokemon fans in America have never even heard of internet announcements before.

I know Saber-san. Seriously. The game companies in general should learn by now that whatever happens in Japan does not stay there. That any series with a dedicated fanbase will get the news when it comes out. The Internet is that an important tool and uber awesomes. ^_________^

I'm definitley going to be watching E3.
Why wouldn't they mention it?

OH! And what exactly is The Incredible Wandering Thread..? /:

I wouldn't expect anything about HeartGold and SoulSilver coming from the E3 either. The reason I say this is because of how it is an American conference, and knowing Nintendo, then never like to release any Japanese information, even though we already know about it. Anyway, there is always a chance, but we'll just see how it turns out. I'd like to mention that I'm definitely getting SoulSilver, while my sister is getting HeartGold, so basically both will be located in my household. It'll make trading a lot easier too, and I'd be able to get any exclusives that may be individualized throughout each version.

I'm pretty sure they're not going to disclose a single piece of information about Heart Gold/Soul Silver in E3.

Just like f l a s h said, it is an American conference, and even if Japan has given some info on this, and earlier games in the past, America didn't tell of that news until a lot later.
I mean, go look at the English Pokemon website - the newest information that it gives is what we knew for years.

But I know one thing that has a great chance of being done in E3 this time. That one thing is announcing the release date for the English version of Explorers of Sky.

I really wish we didn't have to wait so long for HGSS. If they come out it 2010, I'mma be broke since I'll be graduating and all...but either way, I'm definitely getting both.

And for the above, that's why I never check American sites. :| They're no help.

I would be honestly suprised if they didn't AT LEAST talk about it for a little bit.

I think that is the only thing that I am going to like if they do talk about it...

Unless they shock us with something amazing like Microsoft did...
However, I highly doubt it...

They won't. Trust me. Last year Platinum had juuust been announced with some of its new features in Japan. Nintendo's E3 conferenced just brushed by the Pokemon series mentioning it was doing great sales-wise and said that Rangers 2 would be coming out.

If we get anything Pokemon related, it's gonna be an announcement of an intention to bring Explorers of the Sky over. :|

Even if HeartGold and SoulSilver isn't mentioned, at least those who have longfully waited for the 3rd counterpart of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon will hopefully learn some information about it for the DS. I wouldn't expect America to even let loose some news on this game until next year, same with other countries as well. Japan, however is a different story. Seeing as they are suposedly getting the game this Fall, then they'll need some information on it already. Of course, it is a good thing for the internet so other people learn about it as well.

No American sites on things involving Pokémon aren't usually helpful unless it is something soon to be coming out there or already released in America. Anyway, a personal tip: If you think you're going to be broke next year after graduation for the game, then my suggestion is start saving for it now. Put the money away and don't touch it. This way by the time next year you'll still have that money needed for graduation and the money you saved now will be available for when you are ready to buy the games.
