For example, I favor the Lucky Star manga, because I picked up the Lucky Star manga first. But I like the Haruhi anime (Which got me into LS), because I found that one first.

Very rarely will I favor the second finding over the first.

Azumanga has equal love for both forms.

Anime + Manga: 2007 (or '06...?). I know because I first started with Azumanga, and watched Code Geass as the last episodes aired that year.

Touhou: 10/31/09. I had EoSD downloaded, and I'd played it before, but playing it on Halloween was when I really started getting into the series.
