4th Gen The "Is my Pokémon legit or not?" Thread

Is this hacked?
Species: Wigglytuff
Met at level 80 at Turnback Cave.
I don't know the stats but I haven't been Turnback Cave yet so I wouldn't know. xD
 
Okay what info should i post. i can remember their movesets (not sure on magmortar)

electivire knows ice and thunder punch EQ and cross chop adamant nature holding magnet pikachu knows tail whip thunder wave surf and volt tackle. cant remember magmortar hold on flame thrower psychic hyper beam solar beam

dates are oct 20 2007 for mag july 23 2007 for pika andsep 27 2007 for electivire

Yes, I would consider that to be hacked. None of the Pokemon in that evolution line even appear in Turnback Cave, much less at so high a level.

There from PBR on the Wii, So there not hacked because I know the movesets. :)
 
Oh in pokeball not cherish ball. By the way, it can be caught in any ball not just cherish

Incorrect. The event's Pokeball type is preset, meaning that it only has the one option.

...Yes, it should be in a normal Poke Ball. My mistake.

generally need more data, like the IV's and also the current level of abilities would help *i.e. "ATK=14" etc. but in this case it seems like you do have a legitimate pokemon,.. its a murkrow.. no real need to worry

On your...FireRed file? How exactly did you obtain them, then?

They were originally on an Emerald save game A friend of mine had, he gave me his Emerald and I got them traded to Fire Red.

They're GBA events aren't they?
So they can go on any of the 3rd Gen games or D/P etc.

The reason that I asked about it is, if you had downloaded the save file from a website such as GameFAQs, there would have been a real possibility of the events being hacked. You should probably ask this friend about where he obtained the events.
 
I have a question...

not sure if its more suited for a breeding bulletin or this one, but say i got a hacked male Espeon, and I bred it with a female Eevee that was not hacked.

Would the new egg pokemon be considered a legit pokemon?

Ah yeah I'll find out where he got them, after they're done being Pal parked then I guess I'll check them out with that legal checker program as well.
