It wasnt. But this movie was released before generation III, so pretty much everything in the movie is brand new anyway desu~! 8D

Bah, I dont read your small and ... tired-eyes-unlegible writing. D: But still, it can't be Zen Headbutt if the moves are new, even if they do resemble a move. Mebe Skull Bash, Headbutt merged with another move or... something else. Lol, Luster Purge would be the same story, so maybe a combined Protect and Hyper Beam or something.

Yes, I think so. If they work together, the Latis can defeat any opponents with their attacks.

Together, it depends if they are specifically bred to battle together desu~. And that means Latias would be purely supportive (Safeguard, Charm, Helping Hand, Healing Wish, Mist Ball's effect, Light Screen, Reflect, and more...) while Latios does all the attacking (which means he needs STAB (Dragon Pulse is ideal), along with moves to cover weaknesses (Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Psychic, etc..) and some stat-boosting moves (Calm Mind, Charge Beam, etc.) to mow down the opposition). Otherwise, if they are raised separately, than they will not receive much benefit from being together (sad as it is) ._.

'Tis true indeed desu~! Ive had lots of luck pairing Latias with Skarmory. Latias, being a pseudo-Sp.Wall, and Skarmory being a Ph.Wall, not much can hit them, while Skarmory can Toxic the opponent to death while Laitas Safeguards and attacks.

I hate your Skarmory and Latias team D: It like, killed me. I wish there was no Safeguard, I would kill you back with Toxic, and stuff.

Together? Well, maybe in real life, but not in the gaming world. Like everyone said, raised to it's advantage and pairing it off with the same weaknesses, not a smart idea.

I agree with you, txteclipse. I think Latias/Latios will team up with other Pokemon in a double battle.

So maybe a Lati@s team has a chance depending on opponnents.

Actually, Kai, with your Skarmory+Latias duo, would they die if they faced an Electic+Ice duo? Being both flying would have it's ups and downs. I know of a friend who claims to have a Breloom (mm. I love that Pokes) who can destroy anything but one specific type, which no Pokes has. D:

1.) Latias is NOT flying type! (for the last time D: )

2.) True, it would be a hard combo, but Skarmory's steel type means he's not weak to ice.

3.) Latias could easily take out the elec type, unless it had like uber-high sp.def, which electric types usually do not have

4.) Yeah, Skarmory would probably die to a single electric attack, but thats why I have Swampert! desu~ He can use earthquake without touching Latias! >8D
