I think they did, actually. Google time...

Didn't find anything, strangely. I've heard that the Latis are in an episode somewhere, but nothing showed up. This requires more research.

Actually, Kai says there are no episodes featuring Latias and Latios. Otherwise, he'd be screaming it at me for all eternity. D:

Do you think Latias and Latios should appear in one episode?

I dont watch the episodes. :(

Nice pic rene.
Good answer you have, Skii. And thanks. I like the Latias and Latios picture too.

No offense but how is I dont watch the episodes a good answer?
No, it's not a good answer. Sorry about that, Skii. I think the Latis should appear in the episode.

~Rene~ :t025:

I don't think legendaries should appear in episods anyway.

They should just have their own movies.
You are right, Skii. Latias and Latios should appear in movies only.

~Rene~ :t025:

If they get their own movies all about them they shouldn't feature in episodes.

Especially since movies are longer than episodes.
Yes, you got a good point. Maybe they will make another movie about Latias and Latios.

Although I have completely shunned the Pokemon television series from all aspects of my life, I agree that the Latis should be in an episode. If Mewtwo, Lugia, and who knows how many other Legendaries get their own movies and episodes, why shouldn't the Latis?

Then again, considering how the television series practically drops the previous Pokemon region every new season, it might be difficult to incorporate the Latis into Sinnoh...

For most of the common trend, legendaries appear in the anime episodes AFTER a generation or two has passed (Watched any of the Lugia epis? How about Articuno being part of the Battle Frontier?).

Just give them time! C: Itll come eventually desu~

You did that already, Rene...

I think it would be cool to do spin-off franshises for certain pokemon. The Latis obviously have a rich history with AltoMare, so they could do a series on that history. I want to know where the Soul Dew originally came from, why it's effective against the dark storm near the beginning of the movie, and what that storm is from.

I try to answer all this myself with my fic, but it would be cool to see Nintendo's take on the matter (the "official" story, you could say). We'd see a lot more of the Latis, obviously, and it would be rather cool for everything to be explained. Oh how that would be awesome.

Sorry, txteclipse. It's my fault. I post the wrong picture. I edited already. And changed it to a Latios picture.

~Rene~ :t025:

Lol, it's okay Rene, don't get so hard on yourself! D:

Yeah, well, the Soul Dew holds the soul of the Latios (two now, I guess) that gave his life defending the city.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

I live in AMERICA!!! D: lolsize7font^_^

The Soul Dew only holds one soul. The first one shattered, remember?

For some reason I don't think the original soul dew was an actual soul...

They never really explain the origin, I don't think. The Latis just kinda show up near the start of the movie and hand it to the humans, which is why I want to know where it comes from, darnit. Stop leaving us in the dark, Nintendo!

Oh, and Merry Christmas and all. In Christmas colors.

Yes, that did take forever.

Thanks for telling me, Maddy. I won't post the same pictures.

btw did you ever see the legend behind the SoulDew and the Latis' appearence on Altomare? (The one in the beginning of the Japanese movie that was cut from the American version o_0)

If not I suppose I could show you ... now If I could just find that link =/

Hm ... interesting replies xD I didnt mean exactly a "family", but more like ... like a community! >.<

A bit like this part in the Altomare Legend:

(It may be kinda big for some of you pplz out there! ^_^; )

I think theyd be a little seclusive and try to stay hidden (as legendaries do). In the case of the legend, a pair of the Lati siblings were found wounded on the beach which is why in the legend they helped the villagers.

So maybe they would be accepting of humans? Could be. In the legend, the old couple cared for the Latis and nursed them back to health (this was all while they were in human form btw)

Did I find it? Enjoy. Is that the one you were talking about, Kai?
