We;come to the club RLan69^^
and i normally only draw manga not right but my fav mangas are:Fruits Baskets, and DNAngel!
 
Well..Just a few hours ago, I decided that the manga I'm working on will only be 9 volumes long.
(instead of 11)

I'd like to make a different series soon, though all my friends are saying I should wait till I'm done with the one I'm on.

Me too^^ I finished all the books on Fruits Basket and DNAngel that have sold out so far so im waiting for a book of each of them to come out (13 and 11)
 
Great stories kimi and Keizah plus yout oo Crystal Claire^^ and meh, I only like Fruits Basket and I draw a lot of the characters from there..i wish i could show you guys;______; anyway I have my own story i have yet to draw out.

Probably should, more than one project at the same time's very hard. How long is each volume? Most don't have 12 chapters, mine would only have four since the chapters are longer than weekly chapters.
 
I've done it before. ^_^ It's not all that hard really, but I'll still wait though. XD

I usually have 3-4 chapters per volume.
Each chapter is about 30 pages long.

btw: I like the new username. XD
 
That's kinda short for a chapter actually, most chapters that are 30 pages are like that because they run weekly. So it'd work better at 7-9 chapters per volume. Mine would be 3-4 because they're usually 40-60 page chapters.

Yeah, but like I said, it depends on how you want to do it. I'm doing it my way because, one it's easier, two you can fit more story into a short amount of space. XD

lol, well i didn't have enough time to explain it but here it is:

These two sisters Carmaire and Zori live in this world called the DarkFire. There is another world called Light Water. the two planets were both one but when the ancient gods, water and fire got in a fight over who owend the planet the planet seperated due to the fighting. Since then only the strongest warriors called DarkFire soldgers and Lightwater Soldigers go into battle every 100 years and train for a while. Ususally only men could be fighters but some women have become fighters too. Each fued ends ina draw with neither side surrendering. Which ever planet wins, the god gets to rule it (water wins, then ater rules both).
The two characters Carmarie and Zori are forced by their mother to become DarkFire sodigers in place of their father who died of an illness(he was in training to be a warrior). So the two girls baisically are training to become DarkFire Soldigers so they can battle in the huge war^^

As I said I have yet to draw it, i've been busy makin up the characters and story line.

I may not have 3-4 chapters. I think I'll have..5 chapters maybe per volume?

Something I forgot to ask, is 30 single or double sided? As in, you have 15 pages, but art is printed on the back as well, or 30 actual pages?
 
Because that usually makes them smaller if you count each side as a different page.
 
Actually Kimi that sound like fun^^ How would it work?
 
Well...during the summer we could all put in any hand drawn/computer drawn comic, then we can read them and at the end of the summer, a judge could decided the winner! They don't have to be story line related...it could be short comics that you drew on the bus home or something....If we can't get someone to judge, Then we can always just look at other peoples work!!
