The manga ceation support club

Okay! I keep drawing mine, but they alway turn out looking lie a girl...so I said the heck with it and put a cross dresser character in my manga...XP
 
I consider him very special to me....*I even gave him a twin sister who uses a sword too! They are both fencers. Eventually, he wears proper clothes, but he still has the long hair!! ^_^

It sounds like the contest will be really fun and challenging. ^_^
 
yep^^ I hate backgraounds as well, because I either draw them out of proportion with the characters or I just plain mess up on it ;; THe expressions with the guys aer okay on minebut I wish guys had a variety of stuff they could wear!!

I thought that too last night!!
Right now I have Princess tutu fan art, but that's it.....I have some original charcters that are meant for it, so I guess it's good...
I'm planning on drawing a short little comic with some other random charaters. I'll draw them during the finals with all the free time I'll have!! :P But Mine are bound to be the funny type....I live for deh funny!! XDD
 
same here^^ me shall draw during my free time too, I only have one final a day then no final :) I do a lot of FB fan art but i guess I culd draw some originals as well for a comic^^
 
I'm starting on drawing a fan comic....me and keizah should start on the original comic that we have planned when I gain more confidence in my inking in ablities....;__;
Does anyone know a good way to practice?
 
With inking?
Hmm..
I would draw random rough sketches and take a regular school pen and trace carefully. And after paracticind a few times with a few drawings, I would make the real thing and ink it.
Though, the inking pens I use may be different from the ink pens you're talking about. ^_^
 
That's happened to me before as well.
And then I'll see a huge splotch on someone's face and I'll go,"Nooo!"
 
I put white out on it, but it's just not the same, you know?
Anyway, I think I may take a fanfiction I'm reading and make it a comic...that would be funny! I'm starting to practice on my inking...But I don't do it too long becuase i have other things to do...
 
I'm thinking about doing that since I'm only doing my comics on typeing paper. I could aslos ink in whenever I want to do something in color...In that case...I should start on a comic soon!! XD
 
If that's the case, we can finally start on OUR manga...We just need to find a meeting place...in any case, I'm still trying to work on the proportioning of the charcters. I always make their legs too long or short.

Proportions? I remember I had problems with that a long time ago.
With legs, it's better to have them long than short.
 
Yeah, that's true...I found a cheap set of color pencils (only 12) That work well. I seem to use them alot. ^_^ they blend well!
So when's that thing going to start? I have Fanart, but that's about it..*to lazy to make a comic* XDD
