1st Gen The Mew Glitch

The Mew glitch needs no introduction. But, it's still performable in the Virtual Console version of R/G/B! That being said, have you ever performed the Mew glitch?

Yes, I did the Mew glitch and the Gengar glitch on Yellow for VC (just because I had only just learned about it with the VC release of the game!)

Never knew about it for the GBC releases so didn't try it back then. I remember there were a bunch of fake methods for getting Mew which put me off at the time.

I performed the Mew Glitch several times. I also performed the Celebi glitch in G/S/C as well.


But there is also the arbitrary code execution glitch to get Mew or any Pokémon in both generations, though.

I did the Mew glitch once and was successful in adding Mew to my collection, although I no longer have Mew since my game's battery died a long time ago. I want to try the Mew glitch in the Virtual Console versions of Red and Blue.
