Grass monotype challenge update 3:
So many things were done here. Mainly:
Update No something:
- Fooled around the Safari zone and got lost on the first try. The good part, a Naughty male exeggcute was caught, now named MileyDyrus.
- Still missed an item on the second try but got the Surf HM. Also caught a bunch pokemon for the sake of Dexfilling (Adamant Tauros (again monotype trolling ensured), Bashful Kangaskhan (more monotype trolling), and a Naive Rhyhorn, and some Nidorans. Encountered a Venomoth but missed) = TROLLED Hard by the monotype hype!!!
Fire Red Throwback has the reusable TMs implemented, so TM usage is definitely encouraged! And because its such a nice improvement hack for FireRed, I'll definitely keep playing this savefile after the challenge is done!

So many things were done here. Mainly:
Spoiler:
- Lt. Surge was no match for Maplestreet and co. My former monotype got wrecked with the more versatile Grass type
- After a bit of Fooling around in different Routes, Maplestreet became Venasaur, ready to REKK more monsters. LittleJenny evolved as well.
- Little Jenny found her forte with some Acid action. Her ATK stat can take advantage of some STAB poison moves that will be handy later on.
- LittleJenny's hard work came to fruition when she KO'd Giovanni's Kangaskhan with some crits out of nowhere. Cleared Celadon Game Corner.
- Went about on Lavender Tower, meeting our rival Kirito on the way, and sadly for him, our team was vastly overleveled with all the exploring and fooling around we've made. Lavender Tower's healing pad floor makes for the most comfortable SPAtk EV Hotspot in the game.
- Cleared Erika's gym with little trouble. Being part Poison type really helpled. STAB Poison moves were quite effective against Erika and her fellow trainers' own grass mons.
- Fooling around with more areas and routes. Will probably visit Fushia City and the Safari zone for that Exeggcute for the 5th man of the grass team (along with the much needed Psychic typing later on)
- Saved on Saffron City. Will take on Silph Co.
- Don't mind the Farfetch'd. It was for Cut and Fly purposes.
Also, granting Yoonie the Aerial Ace TM was well worth it. For a move with such a base power at this early in the game, it enabled her to devastate more mons out of the way, especially those Fighting types (Machops aboard) became mincemeat EXP and EVs for Yoonie. Upon getting Slash, her moveset is now quite formidable at this point of our run. She's also compatible with the Dig TM but that will be considered or not.
Keekfl will soon be the team's fast supporter should there be any compatible TMs to be used. She will be the team's Battery with Sunny Day.
LittleJenny is somehow gaining ground with some Poison Attacks. Again, I'm still unsure what would be her final moveset.
As for Maplestreet, his moveset now needs more tuning. he's still stuck with Tackle, and I'll replace that with the Secret Power TM for some better Normal/Neutral Damage, which will still be replaced for a better move later on.
