There have been a lot of threads on which pokémon is the most overlooked pokémon, but they are all flawed in one glaring way: for people to suggest a pokémon, they have to not overlook it first. This thread is designed to whittle down that list to see which pokémon truly is the most forgotten. When we find that out, I personally will catch one and train it. You are welcome to join me.

Week 5 Statistics (7/26/10)
Kanto: 93/151 - 62%
- increase of 27 - 18%
Johto: 53/100 - 53%
- increase of 14 - 14%
Hoenn: 135/135 - 100%
- increase of 102 - 75%
Sinnoh: 107/107 - 100%
- increase of 67 - 62%
Overall: 388/493 - 79%
- increase of 210 - 43%
Thoughts: Holy Miltank! How did this week happen?! Gen IV is the most-remembered generation, followed by Gen III. Johto, largely considered to be the golden-age of pokemon, is currently the most-forgotten. Personally, thanks have to go to Fire Wolf and Deku, who between the two of them pretty much nominated most of Gens III-IV. Still, we have seen a lot of awards given out, including the most-forgotten pokemon of two generations: Lumineon and Hariyama. Both of whom I had to scratch my head to remember, then was like, "Oh yeah! Them!" We're also going to have a lot more awards in the week to come. Wait and see what I have in mind, and if you have suggestions, PM me.
Week 4 Statistics (7/18/10)
Kanto: 66/151 = 44%
- increase of 19 - 13%
Johto: 39/100 = 39%
- increase of 9 - 9%
Hoenn: 33/134 = 25%
- increase of 10 - 8%
Sinnoh: 40/106 = 38%
- increase of 11 - 11%
Overall: 178/493 = 36%
- increase of 49 - 10%
Thoughts: Kanto may have cemented its victory, but Sinnoh really pulled ahead this week. At this point, almost all of the "obvious" candidates have been taken, so we're really going to have to think from here on out.
Week 3 Statistics (7/11/10)
Kanto: 47/151 = 31%
- increase of 12 - 8%
Johto: 30/100 = 30%
- increase of 11 - 11%
Hoenn: 23/134 = 17%
- increase of 8 - 5%
Sinnoh: 29/106 = 27%
- increase of 6 - 5%
Overall: 129/493 = 26%
- increase of 28 - 6%
Thoughts: Kanto and Johto are still getting all of the love, while Hoenn is, predictably, falling behind. Sinnoh remains a wild card. On the one hand, it's at 27%, but on the other hand, it has such a small pool of pokemon that it could pull ahead very quickly. There were nearly 10 Isshu pokemon revealed to the public this week, and I feel that in the coming weeks, we will see similar increases. For that reason, I'm removing Isshu from the competition.
Week 2 Statistics (7/2/10)
Kanto: 35/151 = 23%
Johto: 19/100 = 19%
Hoenn: 16/134 = 12%
Sinnoh: 23/106 = 22%
Isshu: 8/20? = 40%?
Overall: 101/513 = 20%
Week 1 Statistics (6/23/10)
Kanto: 29/151 = 19%
Johto: 14/100 = 14%
Hoenn: 8/134 = 6%
Sinnoh: 16/106 = 15%
Isshu: 6/16 = 37.5%
