I've never had a song make me cry but the one song that always sends chills up my spine and a hollowness in my heart would be the song "Daddy" by Korn. It's based off of Johnathan's (the main singer's) experience when a family friend of his molested him and when he told his parents they didn't believe him. In the context of the song it's a fictional recreation that describes his dad raping him and his mom passing by and not stopping her husband.
I just kind of get this creeped-out feeling whenever I hear the hurt in his voice, the instrumentals, his crying at the very end.

Although, admittedly, it isn't a proper song, 'Doomsday' by Murray Gold brought a tear to my eye. Lol, I'm such a wuss. ;)

Here is the lyrics-Heal The World
    Make It A Better Place
    For You And For Me
    And The Entire Human Race
    There Are People Dying
    If You Care Enough
    For The Living

*is guessing 'Red-Bandit' is a big Michael Jackson fan*

I thought that (^) song was quite saddening too.

    Iris, by the Goo-Goo dolls.
It's not a sad song really, but, my whole life story is in that one song.
And My Immortal by Evanescence. It reminds me of my brother...
The only two songs I really "cry" at.

    best of both worlds

Merry Christmas - John Lennon. It's more or less the video, but it always gets me sad for some reason.

This Woman's Work by Kate Bush.
It's too powerful not to move you.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow / What A Wonderful World as sung by Israel Kamakawiwo'elo.
Maybe it's only because of the memories I associate with it, but I will have to turn it off or leave the room or I will start to tear up. Every time.

Sorry to be Pedantic, but he /was/ the best singer in the world. Who holds that title now is uncertain. I can think of a fair few people who could take the title though.

Anyway, one that made me really upset was from the musical Wicked.

For Good by Idina Menzel & Kristen Chenoweth or Kerry Ellis and Dianne Pilkington makes me quite upset sometimes, I don't really know why, I can just connect with the song.

Everytime by Britney Spears is also upsets me.

    Everytime I try to fly,
    I fall without my wings,
I feel so small, I guess I need you baby.
And everytime I see you in my dreams,
I see your face, It's hanunting me,
I guess I need you baby.

Fooled Me Again, Honest Eyes by Lady GaGa. She puts so much emotion into the performance, you actually feel sorry for her because the song is based on a real life experience.

My songs seem a bit mainstream, but that doesn't mean I can't connect with them on an emotional level.

I've never really cried from a song, but one that came I came close to during would have to be:

"Tears In Heaven" by Eric Clapton. If you know the story behind, you'll know what I mean.
