The Name Raters

Well becuase I have'nt, it would have to be a 5/10. (Oh and BTW, Gorebyss can be male, but mine was a girl, which is what I meant.)

Name: Tiger
Pokemon: Growlithe
Reason: Becuase it's orange and black and looks like a tiger. Full of originality I am. :P
 
yes, and for that, I will give you a 5/10. And i read the Hunger Games, so i get it. Too true...except Snorlax don't drink wine...or win the Hunger Games...

Pokemon: Girafarig

Name: HHSZGZSHH

Reason: I really wanted to nickname it for some reason...and ran out of ideas. So this is how I came up with one.

Pokemon original name->flipped backwards->Letter after first letter (e.g. G->H, Z->A)-> letter before first letter (e.g. G->F, A->Z) , repeat

And Girafarig was spelt the same backwards. IDK!!!

Reason:Nothing really It just came to my mind..

It make sense because Ash crossed the waters of the orange archipegalo on Lapras.But 'cross' is a meh-ish name.

Reason: My Fearow is a male

Nickname:Silver
Reason:It's the mascot of Pokemon Silver.

Pokemon:Raticate
Nickname:Gnawer
Reason: Raticate has big front teeth which I assosiate with things that gnaw.

We had a science experiment and we used a thing called a Vandigraph generater that made static electricity jump from person to person if you get close.

Feraligatr-Ripjaw
Well, massive fangs+mouth= looks like could tear thing to shreds

all it did was blow itself up

Sceptile-Geklo (insert any roman numeral)
My friend named his Sceptile Geklo, and mine was an egg from it so I named it Geklo Jr. And now I've been breeding, and sending a new treecko to a game when I buy it. I've sent one to pretty much every game. every time I did I'd name it Geklo III, IV, etc. (There was a girl, I called her Gekla) I think I'm on Geklo the 8th.

A all nicknamed Pokemon from Ruby. Some of them were nicknamed a long time ago and I maybe forgot a origin of nickname. I excluded a Pokemon from in-game trades.

Metagross - Kosiarz (Polish name =D): it's so nicknamed as I use him(its [?]) often to Cut grass

Blaziken - Baseiken:don't remember.

Azumarill - Bazurill:as above.

Flipper - Pelipper:as above o-o

Aigon - Breloom: see above xD

Exploder - Weezing: He has Explosion move.

Boulder - Graveler:Graveler looks for me like boulder, that's why she has this nickname.

Coinca - Swellow: If I remember...

Pichi - Raichu: diminutive from Pikachu. Nicknamed as Pikachu.

Mr.Whisi - Exploud: I don't remember too (lol)

Povbat - Crobat:A cross of Crobat and something other... but I don't remember what.

Monkey - Aipom:Aipom is a monkey-like Pokemon and so nickname...

Findi - Linoone: From her ability.

(an english letters that I can't write) - Poliwag:She was caught at (un)epic place and nickname got scrambled.

Reason - Don't quite remember, but I guess I just thought it sounded interesting.

Reason: Well if you have ever watched 'My name is Earl' then a guy called Randy has a pet turtle named 'Mr Turtle'. And also because Turtwig is a turtle :D
 
8/10, becuase I have'nt seen my name is earl, but I still find it amusing.

Pokemon: Psyduck
Name: Toaster
Reason: Well, to me Psyduck's beak kind of resembles a piece of toast. Therefore the Psyduck is the toaster. :)

Pokemon: Gengar
Name: Onryo
Reason: In Japanese Mythology, an Onryo is known to be an unkind spirit (usually out for revenge, except my one isn't x3) and as Gengar is known to be unkind and mean on occassion (even if it is for its own humour,) I found it fitting. While an Onryo is usually female, they can be male.

I named it that as an abra becausethe pokedex said it would teleport all the time and disappear. Like Hudini! lolz

Deliberd: Mr. Claus
He brings presents like Santa!

Espeon: Mindbender (I've also had one called Mindgames)
Just thought it sounded cool

Pokemon: Dragonite (Female)
Name: Chitose
Reason: My theme when nicknaming is Japanese. And Chitose is a Japanese girl's name which means 'Ascend with the Strength of a Thousand.' I found it fitting because not only can Dragonite fly; they're also very strong.
