Hey everybody,

Names Sultan and I am a 23 year old in my final year for aerospace engineering. I used to love pokemon when I was a kid but then got lost in other things. I love modding and such for a long time. Recently broke an ankle and during recovery got back into pokemon again.

I am thinking of getting gen 6 but i found love for modding roms. I play zeta and other pokefan games and showdown. I am hear to learn more and attempt many challenges and try many mods/hack.

Hey there and welcome to PokeCommunity! Ouch, it sucks you broke your ankle, but I do hope you have nice speedy recovery. And welcome back to the world of Pokemon! I personally think it's worth getting the 6th gen games, X&Y were a breath of fresh air and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire bring back so much nostalgia.

I've tried modding ROMs in the past and it wasn't for me, however, we do have an extensive collection of hacks which can be found in the Hack Studio. As for the Showdown server, that can be found here. I hope to see you around the community!

Hope your ankle heals quickly :( Cool to hear that you've recently got into Pokemon again. I would recommend you play Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire - since you've played Ruby and Emerald, I have a feeling you'll enjoy their remakes. They both bring back nostalgia as well as bring something new to the table which is really quite interesting.

Awe sorry about your ankle. =( But maybe it wasn't so bad if it got you to try Pokémon games again? Heh. Welcome to PC, Sultan!

Modding and hacking the games is insanely fun I'm sure and we have a huge community for that here, definitely. Though I'd also highly recommend getting the sixth generation games.. they were very addicting and pleasing to the eye with the lovely 3D graphics. OR/AS were fantastic remakes of the original Ruby and Sapphire as well.

Either way have an excellent time regardless of what you choose to do. 8] See you around!

Thanks for the wishes/hope. Yes I have been looking into two challenges and seeing the mod available. I played Gen 1 and Gen 2 but my first game I owned was in Gen 2. My favourite is emerald but If we include remakes than I like hgss. Emerald was my favourite because it introduced most dragons and my favourite move sheer cold. Gen 4 was close with introducing draco meteor. I haven't played Gen 6 yet so haha.
