Most fire pokemon - Flame

Krabby - Mr. Krabs

Names for my favourite pokemon?

Hey guys, I'm a Pokeplayer who enjoys giving nicknames to my Pokemon, but problem is I can't think of anything! DX Can you guys assist by giving me a good selection of names?

-Male Delibird- (I named him Santa but it's too meh)

I nicknamed my Milotic, Melody. I kind of like Santa for Delibird lol.

Golem - Shaq
Typhlosion - Kobe
Squirtle - Entei (my brother nicknamed it)
 
i called my magmortar flaminfatty cause u know thats what he is
i named my kyogre .... bed wetter cause u know.. his ability is drizzle... and stuff
my honchcrow is named Pimp bird... cause thats what he is
my gyrados is named nessy ... you could name your milotic that i guess
my machamp is named ROIDrage
my celebi is named toothfairy
pinsir is mr pinchy
blaziken is Soon2beKFC
 
i just named my new gallade "Patchouli" after Patchouli Knowledge

(a touhou character, for those who dont know :D)
 
I named my Cyndaquil "Flame" and my Pigeot "Marvin" I don't know why, but a Pidgeot has always looked like a Marvin to me. xD
 
On my Emerald game I put all of their names backwards, just for fun. I get some weird results.

Delcatty: Yttacled (Pronounced Ya-sul-ed (Silent t's))
Vulpix: Xipluv (Pronounced Zip-love)
Electrike: Ekirtcele (Pronounced Eh-kert-seal)
Altaria: Airatla (Pronounced Air-at-la)
Shroomish: Hsimoore (Pronounced Sigh-moore)
Mudlip: Pikdum (Pronounced Pick-dumb)

Haha, they're so weird :P
 
I've started naming my Pokemon after characters from the Ace Attorney games for DS :pink_smile:
so far I've got:
Edgeworth (Mightyena)
Gumshoe (Poochyena)
Phoenix (Murkrow)
Franziska (Sneasel)
I'm adding an Umbreon to my team, but I'm not sure what character to name it after yet, heh :pink_giggle:
 
I give nicknames to every single Pokemon I catch, each nickname being unique to the species and gender (i.e. two male Scythers will both have the same name, but a male Beedrill and a female Beedrill will have different names). I don't have 1000 names yet, but I do have a good memory of what I name them.

Anyways, here's the names of the ones I am using right now:
Kangaskhan (F) - Momma (Quite original :D)
Quagsire (F) - Flappy (Also ingeniously original)
Gligar (M) - Gliggy
Hypno (M) - Sleeper
Jynx (F) - Aoife
Charizard (M) - Shaleshank
 
I too nickname every pokemon I catch be it a real name or something referring to the pokemon itself. It makes them seem more pokemon like rather then computerized pixels. Lol

Bayleef: (M) Tohmas.
Dunsparce: (M) Lionel.
Ariados: (M) Smiley.
Gengar: (F) Cindy.
Kingler: (F) Romenia.
 
All of my names are random obvious references, like the following examples:

Jack = Spearow
Glen = Quagsire
Stardust = Zigzagoon
Eugene = Krabby
Bruce = Zubat
Peter = Spinarak

I need more names, but nothing too obscure :3

let's see here... I don't ussually bother naming them, but I have collected a few that I use when they fit:

phsycic/Absols= Arbiter (as in a judge)
dragon/legendary= Sangaroh (rayquaza every time)
when bored=GigaMeister ;)

and very recently I have come to call my main character Dijon and my main pokemon Mauve. IDK it just fits.
 
Victreebell - Aphrodite (Greek counterpart of Venus)
Hypno - Morpheus (god of dreams, son of Hypnos)
Lapras - Lomond (my last one was Nessie, so I had to choose a different Loch :P )
Aerodactyl - Rend (pretty self-explanatory)
Cubone - Tempe (I think I was watching Bones at the time ^^; )
Tentacruel - Sepia (sepia = squid ink)
