It's different now, though. The school system forces everyone to change their passwords every three months.

My high school was boring and didn't let you change your password from your student ID, which was good for some people because most of your friends wouldn't know that number anyways (but if they did, you'd have to watch out for them inserting pornographic material into your PowerPoint projects XD).

My college just cuts out signing into a server and makes every lab computer sign into a password free account based directly off of the computer.

Which is why I bring my laptop and use it for everything except printing. And toying around with Windows for coursework (which I managed to completely lock myself out of a test folder in Vista on Wednesday XD)
