Me being a Puerto Rican means I have to like Puerto Rican girls, and listen to PR music. My parents and grandparents are control freaks, so I have limited freedoms. :<
It means, I can't wear my hair the way I want, I can't wear whatever clothes I want. And if my mom sees any sign of me being depressed, or moody, she'll take away every electronic object I have, video games, computers, etc. But, really, she's forcing me to change, when she can't even stop smoking a cigarette for on day.

EDIT: Tell your mother that you'll give in when she drops the smoking. (Probably not a good idea). Ugh. Cigarette smoke. Can't stand being in my aunt's house for more than 3 hours because they are chronic smokers. And my cousin enjoys coming over for a few days because he gets out of their smoky house.
