All you need to do is make a profile of your character.

We're still missing Sapphire Pearl Voice (Noel's child), Peridot Pearl Voice (Coco's child), and Topaz Pearl Voice (Seira's child)
 
Yeah, we'd love for you to join! We posted our profiles one or two pages back, so you can go and check them out to get some ideas for your character, if you decide to participate.

And as for another topic--which do you prefer, the anime or manga? I love them both, but I prefer the anime because the characters and artwork are so cute. X3 Plus, I really like the songs...
 
With the manga, you have to improvise the tune in your head if you haven't seen the anime before or heard the songs.

With the anime, you can actually hear the tunes and sing along if you want.
 
The anime, of course. I don't see the point of reading about singing mermaids.
 
Sometimes it can work (manga about singers) if the lyrics to their songs are written really well--an example is Full Moon wo Sagashite. =3 It shows the main character singing in many parts of the manga, and even though you can't hear what the songs sound like, the lyrics are very pretty... so it's almost like reading poetry or something.

Anyway, have we made any progress when it comes to the RP? XD
 
I'd be happy to help with that right now, but I don't really have enough time to... I'm trying to stay off of the computer as much as possible because my friend from Japan will be here in two days, and I'm still trying to prepare for that. XD

Once she gets here, I won't be active for about a week, okay? But when I get back, if no progress has been made, then I'll try to help with creating the thread.

I have more Mermaid Melody Goes Globetrotting for you...the Italian version uses dramatically different songs than the Japanese version...

i was wondering...would it be a good idea to say sara and gaito somehow survived and had a child, unbeknownst to anyone else? O.o

then gaito somehow combined his remaining powers with sara and created a black pearl? >o<

or will that completely mess up the storyline? -.-

i dunno. juz a random idea that popped into my head XD
