    This club is dedicated to the manga and anime series Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. We can discuss the series, characters, etc. as well as share pictures and fanart! And if you don't know about this excellent and super cute maho-shoujo series, you are welcome to join and find out more about it! :D

    Yay, you made it! Everything turned out great, and I'm happy to be the first person to join! ^_^ I'll try to help advertise it, as well as invite some people who like it. If you wouldn't mind me being Co-Owner then I'd gladly take that position... I didn't know if you planned on reserving it for anyone or not.

    Anyway, I also have some fan art of my own that I can hopefully scan soon!

    For my first performance, I present the first Pitch OP, "Taiyou no Rakuen", or as I have translated it, "Journey of Promise".

    Here's the words, in case you can't hear me:

    Thank you! I'll have the pictures scanned as soon as possible, and you won't have to worry about them being inappropriate. XD I'm not into that sort of stuff! *shudders* Most of my drawings have been of Luchia and Kaitou, but I'll try to work on some of my other favorite characters. (I love Karen's design, especially her hair, so she'll probably be next!)

    Ohh, and I love the songs, EmeraldSky! I'm currently downloading Ever Blue... My favorite of the others was Star Jewel. I hadn't had a chance to hear it before, and it sounded nice! Your voice was very suited to sing it; I can't wait to see more!
     
    Ever Blue sounds amazing... but that's to be expected from someone like you. :D And I can't wait for the fanart! I love Luchia and Kaitou's cool as well; just because Hanon's my favorite doesn't mean I can't like everyone else. :P
     
    That's the main reason I like Lina...her voice matches mine...

    Since Lina and Hanon have had their turn, would it be fair if I did Luchia's song, "Splash Dream" next? Or would you rather me do a different one?

    I do take requests, but if it's a song I don't have an "English" version of, that might take longer b/c I have to:

    1. hunt down an MP3 of it (if I don't have it already)
    2. find a translation of it
    3. listen and write words that have the same rhythms as the originals and carry a close enough meaning as the originals (which means a lot of stopping, writing and restarting)
     
    Wow... that's a lot of work... But yeah, I think it would be great if you did Splash Dream now, since we would then have the songs for the whole trio.

    By the way, I'm looking into starting a roleplay in the Other Roleplay forum based on Pichi Pichi Pitch. It's probably going to be a next generation thing, without the characters from the actual series in it. (Or we might use Luchia and co. as supporting characters if it would make sense for them to be there, but we'd probably just NPC them and not make them major parts of the story.)
     
    Or we could have some new bad guys and have some new mermaids join up with the original 7...
     
    Hm... that might be fun, but the thing is I don't want there to be arguments over who gets which character, and I don't exactly like the idea of creating new mermaid princesses, since the original seven are classic pieces of the show. Though a new villain is a little different, so it's essential to have that.

    I'm thinking of the main characters of the roleplay being the children or grandchildren of Luchia's generation. Maybe some (let's say three out of seven) of the kingdoms were under attack again, but by this new villain, so the baby princesses were sent to live on dry land where humans could take care of them. Time past, and they grew up thinking they were humans, until the day came that their natural mermaid parents decided it was time for them to return to the sea and use the power of their pearls to stop the villain. The other four princesses took on human forms and were sent to find the three that were raised on land so they could fight together and stop the villain. But finding them would be like looking for a needle in a haystack, and then once they find them, what is the chance they'll believe the shocking truth?

    How's that for a plot?
