The Official Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Fanclub!

Of course! Feel free to ask us any questions regarding the series, but I'd rather not give out any spoilers.
 
In the U.S. I don't really know. I don't think it's been officially translated yet, but I bet you could find scripts or scanslations on the Internet. My stepsister got all my MMPPP manga for me when she want to Japan last summer because I gave her money and she asked me for it. So I haven't a clue where to get it. You can always try Ebay or something.... you never know what you can find there.
 
Yeah, that's what I've heard too, but I don't think they've released any translations yet. I can't wait until they do though!
 
ADV is known for staying true to the original version, so hopefully the anti dub people won't be complaining...
 
Welcome to the club, Hikaru-chan! ^_^ We were hoping to introduce the series to more people by making this thread and the role-play, so we're glad you joined. I also won't mind answering any questions, either!

Anyway, I heard the same thing about ADV, and I'm so glad they've liscensed it... I'd die if it had been 4Kids, because I am still recovering from watching Mew Mew Power. o_o I just wonder when they'll release it. I haven't heard any news on that lately!

Also, I'll probably have a chance to scan my pics soon!

Also, I just want to let you guys know that my sister is coming home for the weekend. I haven't seen her all summer, so I'd like to spend as much time with her as I can. I don't think I'll be on much this weekend, if I'm on at all. Thank you for understanding. I'll probably return to full activity sometime on Sunday.

A question, how did you discover Mermaid Melody?

I just stumbled across it while looking for any new anime to watch...
 
I mainly just love it for the music and Lina...the songs are very well done...

Anyways, I discovered Pichi Pichi Pitch last summer when I went to Japan. I was just flipping through channels at the hotel, and it was on. Since it was in Japanese, I didn't understand it, though I already fell in love with it because it was a Maho-Shoujo anime. I asked someone what it was called and she said Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. When I got back home, I searched it, and found some subtitled fanslations to watch! And that's pretty much it.
 
I discovered it by accident...I was just browsing through reviews of anime, found it, hunted down some subs, and that was it!

(Did you happen to make it to the convention, by the way? XD I'll be leaving for the one here in the morning... I'll be gone for a couple more days because we'll be staying overnight in Dallas to go to the State Fair, as well.)

Anyway, I can't exactly remember how I discovered the series. I'm pretty sure I was just browsing an anime website and came across it. I thought that the art style was really cute, so I checked further into the storyline and just fell in love with it! ^_^ It's my second favorite anime now, only after Pokemon!

But wow, that must have been neat seeing it in Japan. I'd love to go there!
 
You know about tackleglomping? I thought my friend invented that word.... at least she was the only person I had heard it from until now...

Anyways, Japan wwas certainly fun. My stepsister is Japanese and she has family there; she goes back to see them every summer, but last year my mom, my two sisters, my brother and I all went so we could meet them.
 
That sounds like fun! My sister is studying Japanese right now, and I'm learning a little off of her...
 
Can I join too? I love Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch although I only watched the second episode of the first season and the first two of the second.

I stumbled upon Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch in an Anime Music Video and I loved the songs (I even found a great German website with lots of videos) and fell in love with it. I love Luchia and Kaito the best, and then comes Hanon. When Hanon and Luchia argued in the second episode it was hilarious to watch. The Japanese Seiyuu are great too, especially for Hanon and Luchia! :P
