Wow, I've not been here in a while and I see so many great and cute pictures! Too cute picture of Misty as a pikachu and every1's elses! :)

If I can ever get some free time I'll practice with her, but I need the right combination of motivation, solitude, and luck to produce something good so it's going to be a while.
 
Is it OK if I join this club? Misty is my favourite Pokemon anime character!^_^
 
Bleh. I've been away, anyone mind telling me everything that I missed? I'm really lazy .. so I can't be bothered to check the last page. ;_;
 
I DID check out all the pictures. I've spotted a few really REALLY awesome professionalish sketches. They rocked.

If you could replace a character of ANY anime with Misty, who would it be?
For me, it'd be Cardcaptor Sakura. Imagine, Misty, holding the Star Staff, transforming cards in cute costumes .. *drools*
 
Wow! buster_wolf is so much of a better sketcher than me- he didn't even do the fine details yet and it still looks like he's an artist. By the way, buster_wolf- your avatar- did you do that cause it's awesome and looks (a bit like Akuma n_n). Sorry for not posting this weekend- like Mistywishmaker I have college stuff to do so I don't get much time on my hands- oh well -_-. I think I'm dense but really- what Anime IS Misty/Kasumi cosplaying in buster_wolf- and are you by any chance Japanese or fluent in Japanese?

I just realized that I can make better sketches if I draw FASTER and lightly- I believe buster_wolf did the same; cause I draw very well Ash concepts (more simpler than the one posted but looking super cool). Maybe this weekend I'll post the concept of the Ash AND Misty drawing I was working on- but believe me- I'm not sure if it's worthy of comparison to either Mistywishmaker or buster_wolf simply because they ARE better artists than me 100%
 
Sorry if I'm double posting- but I wanna address a topic. Suffering. You know it appears as a theme in almost all anime (somewhere- if it wants to be beside a true masterpiece). I have all emotional anime at home- Rourouni Kenshin, FMA... and movies like Grave of the Fireflies. I guess because of this I have shaped Pokemon Xtreme around this darkness and sadness- I believe everyone goes through one place or another. I wonder how much more effective Pokemon would have been if it had evoked the same or higher emotion as it did in the first movie into the anime. 'Kid' anime as some ignorant people call pokemon is probably sprouted around the fact that it's so 'happy'. I want to answer the questions from the anime never addressed thoroughly- such as what happened to Ash's dad. All I can remember is that Ash's mom said that he went out to become a Pokemon master- but what befell him? Did he die? If so... HOW? You see, when you think about these questions and sought out to answer them- the anime becomes more dark and sad. You must also wonder why Ash looks very serious now. Let me tell you at least a little bit in detail before you guys actually get the chance to play my game (when it is finished); Ok. Ash/Satoshi (whichever you prefer) has become the way he has because he disbanded his comrades and searched out the answers (to his dad's if-so-it-might-be-said demise, the real TRUTH behind the pokemon's ancestry and what's actually going around behind the curtains aside from what looks like a perfectly happy world he has been so illusioned with)==> This is why he leaves the team (will not say how long) so that they wont become involved with whatever tradegy might face them as well.

You guys are probably thinking- that's not Ash's character- but you will see- as what happens to many people regardless or character or personality- that sometimes when you know something is very wrong and you care about the people around you- you will prefer to do things by yourself- perhaps for them- and/or for the world.

Sorry if I'm not making much sense- but it will become more apparent when you'll actually see everything unfold in Xtreme- and your whole idea of the world of pokemon being a place happy and jouyful will be alot more different and/or twisted.

You guys don't have to agree with my ideas- but when I'm completed with pokemon Xtreme (about 20+ hours of gameplay) you will get a side of Pokemon very different and twisted changing your views of the whole 'what if' ideal.

O_O oh yeah... CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT THAT! Well, i won't do that again. Well in terms of understanding- I'm not sure if it is about my clarity- I think perhaps you haven't had enough experiences to understand what I'm talking about... I'm not being offending am I? Well, you see- I've actually seen real suffering with my own eyes and have observed what the effects of such things do to people... I'm not sure how to make it more clearer, but... Ash suffers- and doesn't want others to... I guess that's too simple but now u get what I mean right Supreme Edgeboy Max?

I happened to have obtained a used copy of Pokemon 3 the Movie last weekend at GameSewer (sic), so I decided to take this screenshot, do my usual color-imbibition, and crop it to this.
