I guess I should join this since I've had a nuzlocke run going on my Diamond before I joined P.C.

I'm useing rules 1-7 but I am allowing the catching of any shiny pokemon if I finaly get lucky enough to find my first. >_> I won't use them just catch them. Also for rule 2 I still allow the use of pokemon centers.

Update of catching up:
Started the game named myself Comi and my rival something I can't remember at the moment.
Picked Piplup because I've never used one before. Named him Happy Beak.
Did the opening parts. Got Pokeballs.
Failed to get a pokemon on route 201 because i had no pokeballs at the time.
Caught Scar the shinxs.
Caught Echo the zubat.
Caught Zia the starly.
Echo died grinding peck crit.
Caught Titan the geodude.
Caught GI Joe the machop.
Titan died after K.O.ing Roark's geodude.
GI Joe revenged killed everyone else.
I think a couple of my pokemon evolved by then not sure.
Caught Dexter the zubat in ravaged path boxed him soon after.
Got to Floraroma town.
Caught Xavier the shellos in Valley Windworks.
Beat Valley Windwoorks quest thing put honey on tree forgot about it.
Caught Lady Gaga the buizel.
Eterna Forest Started fighting a wurmple and a murkrow together and forgot you can't catch when their is to out and My partner killed Murkrow so I caught wurmble named Book Worm who should have alredy been a Buetyfly at it's level.
Trained Book Worm until it learned Gust.
Got made because the only pokemon that could use Cut was Prinplup So I ran back to the tree and bought honey and waited.
Screamed in frustration when the outline of a combee's shadow and screamed when I saw the red on it proveing it was female!!!!!!
Named her Primrose and had a dreadfuly long time training her to evolve.
Taught her cut and beat the galatic base with Primrose and Happy Beak.
Quickly owned the gym with Zia, and Primrose.
Caught Mediknight the meditite.
Did everything in Eterna City
Lost Xavier on Bike Road.
Caught HeftyHater the stunky.
Started training everyone.

Heart Gold Nuzlocke - Update 1

Well apparently I didn't learn my lesson during my Platinum Nuzlocke, cos I suddenly felt the urge to do it all again, in Johto.
-Started in NewBark, did the tutorial stuff and got Cyndaquil, named Volcanator, after my Infernape, Fernonator, from Platinum Nuzlocke.
-Met Mr Pokemon and Oak, got a Pokedex, beat up Silver, my rival.
-Headed around the routes, captured Pebbles the Geodude on Route 46 and Echo2 the Zubat in Dark Cave, and made them official Diablerie team members!
-Also captured Ratty the Rattata, Crackle the Mareep and Oh? the O Unown.
-Reached Violet City, went up the Sprout Tower, beat up the Sages and challenged the Gym.
-Falkner was fairly easy, with Volcanator's Ember killing Pidgey, and after a long Roost stall-fest with Pidgeotto, Geodude's Rock Throw finished it off.
-I got the Zephyr Badge! :)

-Put Tsubasa in the box, withdrew Miu
-Flew to Pallet Town, accidentally KOd a Lickitung on Route 21
-Surfed to Cinnabar Island
-Caught Ren the Gastly in Pokemon Mansion
-Encountered Entei, got roared away before I could KO her though.
-Got the Secret Key, healed up and headed to the gym
-Makoto swept through everything with Surf

-Headed to the Sevii Islands with Bill, nerd talk happens, fetch quest time.
-Caught Yuki the Skitty on Kindle Road
-Caught Hana the Gloom in Cape Brink
-Taught Natsumi Frenzy Plant, aww yeah.
-Go to deliver the meteorite, end up having to go save a little girl.
-Caught Akane the Dunsparce at Three Isle Port
-Tsubasa swept through the Bikers on Three Island
-Failed to Catch Swellow on Bond Bridge
-KO'd Suicune with one Frenzy Plant
-Caught Moriko the Celebi in Berry Forest (It used Perish Song, I panicked. Also, it WAS the first 'mon I saw), KOd another Celebi later anyway
-Beat up Hypno, saved Lostelle, delivered the Meteorite, blah blah...
-Surfed back to Pallet Town, ran to Viridian City.
-Gym time.
-Makoto swept it with Surf

-Did some grinding
-Caught Naoko the Pikachu in the Power Plant
-Caught Mizuho the Wingull on Route 20
-Caught Yuko the Seel in the Seafoam Islands
-Caught Ran the Tentacool on Route 12
-Caught Shinju the Clampearl on Route 23
-Caught Aiko the Marowak in Victory Road
-Beat up a wild Ho-Oh
-Got through, healed and started grinding
-Decided that I might as well get some stealing done while I was at it.

-Natsumi swept through Lorelei's team, although Makoto had to deal with Jynx

-Natsumi took care of Bruno's Onyxes and Yuri swept through his fighting types

-Makoto swept through Agatha's team, Pacman style!

-Natsumi Sleep Powder/Razor Leaf'd Gyarados and sleep powdered Aerodactyl before letting Yuki fire her lasers at Lance's dragons.

-The champion battle, really wasn't looking forward to this. Yuki Ice Beam'd Pidgeot, Makoto switched in and dealt with the rest of his team. Yeah...kinda anticlimactic.

Overall, this run was fairly bloodless, especially seeing as this hack has high level legendaries running around as early as Diglett's Cave...I might try another Nuzlocke at some point in the future, probably with less grinding.
 
So, started my Pearl run just now, naming myself (as ever) Locke. I wasn't especially bothered by my rival's name, so he got the default name Diamond. I soon remembered how annoying that character is, and wished I'd called him something more unpleasant.

Anyway off I set, heeding Mom's advice about not straying into tall grass lest I should be eaten by wild Pogeymanz. Diamond decided to accompany me to the lake, as we were looking for a particularly rare red Gyarados. Not having running shoes is a pain. On reaching the lake we saw an old guy and a young girl (nothing suspicious about that) looking over the water. They left a bag behind as they departed... I went to check out the bag, and suddenly two very very small birds attacked! Completely incapable of shooing them away, I delved into a complete stranger's personal belongings and came out with a Pokeball.

I chose Piplup (I find Water-types the best for Nuzlocke runs. They can learn Surf, Empoleon in particular only has three weaknesses and has decent defences, and they can learn Ice-type moves, which are always good against the inevitable Dragon-types). The little penguin kicked the snot out of the Starly that had attacked, and Dawn, the girl from before, came back to tell us off for using someone else's possessions, which seems fair enough really. Diamond said his Turtwig was hurt in the battle, which shows that it wasn't more awesomer than my Piplup like he said it was. We bumped into the old guy again, who promptly wandered off again. I went home and got my shoes off Mom, and set off towards Sandgem to visit the Professor and apologise for stealing his pet...

When I got there (bumping into no Route 201 Pokemon, happily) I discovered Diamond had already arrived, and he ran into me before scarpering once more. Dawn took me to see the Professor, who let me keep the Piplup! Good chap. I called the Piplup Clipper, like the boats. I left after promising to fill my new Pokedex (never going to happen) and headed back to see Mom, catching a female Bidoof, lv.3, on the way and naming her Wendy. Quiet nature. At home Mom wished me luck on my travels, then Diamond's Mom gave me a Parcel to give to him, advising me he'd probably be in Jubilife City. Well then, that's my next stop! Jubilife City, here we come!

On Route 202 Dawn showed me how to catch Pokemon, which seemed redundant given that I'd already caught Wendy. She did give me 5 Pokeballs for humouring her though, so it wasn't all bad. A bit further down the line I bumped into my Route 202 Pokemon, a Shinx! Superb. Luxrays have awesome Attack and learn Crunch, so Psychics and Ghosts down the line shouldn't prove too tough. This reminded me of my Sapphire Nuzlocke when I ran into a Manectric who ended up being a star member of my team, despite the fact that Manectric are quite rare in the wild - I'm sure Starly and Bidoof are more common round here than Shinx. Anyway after catching Shinx and naming her Java, I stumbled into my first trainer battle, which I feared would be a mistake given that I hadn't healed me Pokemon since I caught Java. And so it nearly proved; the Trainer's lv.5 Starly took Clipper down to low health, so I had to switch him out for Wendy, thinking that she wouldn't last, but a few mistimed Growls from the opponent gave Wendy time to finish it off and everyone survived. Phew. I remembered the lesson I thought I'd learned in my Sapphire Nuzlocke: never take risks.

After scuttling back to the Pokemon Centre with my tail between my legs I moved onwards. Next update coming soon!

Starting Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke Challenge.
What I did:
-Picked Mudkip as a starter, named it Aquafina.
-Beat May.
-Caught a Zigzagoon, named it Wolverine.
-Helped Wally catch Ralts.
-Caught a Wurmple, named it Izzy.
-Aquafina died of poison, she was only level 9 :( .

Pokemon Sapphire Nuzlocke Update!
(Added new rule, only potions I can use are ones I find myself.)

-Caught a Taillow, named her Peppy.
-Trained Peppy to level 12.
-Gave Izzy a massive training spree.
-Beat Rustboro Gym.

I wouldn't nuzlocke a hack until its all the way complete, I stopped nuzlocking sienna and decided to wait for the full beta.

I would really like to do this.

Rules:

1. If a Pokemon faints you have to release it.
2. You have to catch the first pokemon you see in an area, if not, too bad.
3. Nickname all your Pokemon.
4. Don't trade from another game.
5. Turn the Battle style to "set".

I do have a few questions though.
A.Do the Fossils count as being caught where you obtain them or where they're revived?
B.If an Egg is obtained is it counted as where the egg was obtained or where it hatched?
C.Can we use repels say on route 119 o get across the water to the grass.
D.Do in-game trades count as your Pokemon for that area?
I guess thats all.
