So, not too sure how popular this thread will be, but we might as well have it xD​

This thread is for members to post their own PSD files for other members to download. PSD stands for Photoshop Document, and is used with Adobe Photoshop. (Sorry, Gimp users... Maybe I will get permission to make an XCF Thread sometime)

Most of you should know how to obtain and upload the PSD file of an image, but incase you don't, here's how:

1. In Photoshop, go File > Save, and type a file name for your finished image. Specify a location to save it in; I Usually use Desktop, but it's up to you. Make sure the format is set to "Photoshop (*.PSD;*.PDD)". Click Save.

2. Zip your .PSD (along with an optional picture of your finished product) by right clicking it and selecting Send To > Compressed (zipped) Folder. Upload this anywhere that stores ZIP files. I use www.snapdrive.net.

3. Post a link to your PSD in this thread.

And you're done!


4. (Optional)

If snapdrive isn't working for you, you can always just add the .PSD as an attachment.



Now, like every other thread, there's going to be a few rules :x Please obey, as we all know how frustrating it is when rules are broken. Also, I will schmack you. n_n

1. No swearing, flaming, spaming, or otherwise worthless posts that do nothing but give Motsuko headaches :<

2. PSD's MUST BE YOUR OWN! Please don't link to anyone else's PSD's (that you somehow happened to come across) *eyebrow*

3. Always name the PSD you upload as follows:

"[USER NAME]; [NAME OF PICTURE]"

For example, if I was posting the .PSD to a banner titled "City Skies", I would save the .PSD as "Motsuko Live; City Skies.PSD" (minus the quotations)

4. When posting a .PSD, be sure to upload a preview of what the image looks like.

5. Do not request a certain .PSD in this thread. If, for some reason, you cannot follow this simple rule, your post will be ignored. By request's, I mean something like:

OH MAH GAWD DAT BANNR AKARI MADE IZ SO KEWL! I CAN HAS TEH PSD?'
-_- This type of post seen = LOLcat NEUTERED!! *dies*

If you really want the .PSD, a friendly PM to the artist should do the trick.

6. This isn't necessarily a rule, but if you download a .PSD, learn something, and use it, it would be nice of you to give credit to the original artist. Maybe not in your sig, but if you post it in the GRT, don't be afraid to add something like,

"Thank's [WHOEVER UPLOADED THE PSD] for the great .PSD! I learned a lot from it!"

You don't have to add this everytime you use what you just learned, but the first time would be nice.
And finally, rule No. 7. ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, CERTAINLY & UNDOUBTEDLY NO posting of pornographic/hentai images. Doing so will get your post ignored, deleted, and get you a warning from the staff if not banned.

I know some of you liked this, and I don't know if it's helpful to share a PSD for a smudge tag, but still. Oh, and I labeled it out of boredom. Though for some of the layers, I have no idea what I did. This banner is quite old, don't expect me to remember everything x___o

At the current moment, this is the only .psd I plan on posting: Ever. xD But that may change as I get better and change styles and such. If you want a specific .psd, PM me, and I'll consider it. (Though I'm thinking I'll only post a .psd if I take one from here. xD; So yeah.) Sometimes I might say no for a very simple reason: I did so little to it, there's really no point in uploading the .psd. xDD;
