I just realized something; If Eterna forest is where time stands still, why would there be something called "Old" Chateau in it? At the moment, I am looking into this but I felt I should tell you.

This is more confusing than the other things I've said. At the moment, the only thing I can think of is that there is a place in the forest where time exists =\ Also, I know this is way different from what we are talking about at the moment but since Rotom is also a ghost type, it probably got sick and died. That would explain the Old Gateau. The buttler (or who ever) might have made it to try to help Rotom.

Well, you can also find a reaper cloth so wouldn't that be more along the lines of the sign of death?

Yeah, sorry, I didn't go back there that many times, only about 3. But >off topic< what do you think the Reaper Cloth is made from? This is a bit morbid, but maybe Giratina killed those who couldn't capture him, and the bones of them turned into Stardust, while the clothes turned into Reaper Cloths.....?

Man, i'm intrigued. I like the Giratina theory or maybe thats just cause i couldn't stop sweating when i was in Turnback Cave, man i hate that place.

I for one love Turnback Cave. It's so creepy that its awsome!! :D

If there is one scary place in a Pokémon game, it's the one this thread is about. The turnback cave is just foggy.

About the "Old" thing, I have been thinking and cannot come up with an explanation. It seems to contradict itself. There is one possibility, though. If the Old Chateau is really, really, really old, it could have been built before the forest started "stoping time". Maybe it's been there since God Arceus made the world.

I agree. Turnback cave isn't scary. Old chateu is one ofthe most freitening video game area i've ever been to, O_o. As for the "Old" issue, I think it's just to show it's haunted.

Cool pokemon? I beg to differ, it's only the gastly evolutionary line. And you can't get haunter or gengar until after national dex.

O_o Oh-kay... That was pretty off topic... Well, I'm not sure what to think... (I can bearly think cause of school) Maybe something else had happened besides poisoning and stabbing/any form of grusome murder.

Well, in most fiction, ghosts are made when a person is killed suddenly or when they have still something to do in the world. "Gruesome" murders would be the sudden killings.
