Haven't seen the movie, and I don't speak Japanese, either. But if someone has, he/she should mention something here. And, before a few posts ago, Darkrai had nothing to do with this.

About your theory: It's kind of hard to get attacked while in your house, you know? Anyway, living in a forest is strange, too.
 
Hmm I'm not going to put this in a new topic so I ask it here. Why is rotom a legendary pokémon? He's only lv 15 and he's easy to catch.

He's not a legendary. Not to be rude but that has been said many times already.
 
True. But, in my opinion, it was meant to be a legendary because it's (relatively) difficult to find, it has the legendary battle music, and there's a story where you find him. But maybe the idea was dropped out because there were already too many, so they lowered its stats, didn't say much about the house, put it in Lv15, and kept it at the bottom of the PokéDex. Maybe the design was changed, too, because it's kind of small for a legendary (unless it was like Mew or Celebi)
 
Not so much. Just trying to figure out any hints that there may be, but I said they probably left the idea in the air, so we can't be sure if they really left us something to find the true story. But, of course, Chigiri always comes up with something we didn't notice.

We can come up with more things but I think we have discovered all FACTS surrounding the Chateau, which means we should try to come up with something based on that. Or keep checking if there's anything else we have missed. Remember we are forgetting Giratina, the third Sinnoh game Pokémon, which is also a Ghost-type and whose legend hasn't been explained except by the PokéDex. We're also forgetting someone mentioned a long time ago: Fantina, the French, Ghost-type trainer.

Well, Giratina is a Ghost-type legendary without a story told so far except that it lives in a paralle universe sort of thing. It's just a possibility I thought we had forgotten to mention.

First off: congrats on becoming a mod. ^^
sondond off: I agree with the giratina (and darkrai) being involved with the old chateau. Its really interesting to think about it

The Giratina theory is likely. I noticed that it is said that Giratina is said to live in a world on the reverse side of ours. Look at how the Chateau and the Mansion are on reverse sides of Mt.Cornet. So I think it could be possible.

Darkrai has to do with nightmares, so I'm not sure about it.

Yeah, this parallel universe thing can help some of the Mansion speculation.

Totally right. It's not like you use a teleport machine to reach it. It's just kind of hidden, but still in OUR world.
