The Older Generation Pokemon Lovers (Older Generation of People Around 15-Adult)

I'm just about 15 1/2 so I guess this includes me as well. >.>

I've got a whole book full of Pokemon cards, but I've never even battled with them. I just like to look at them, especially the shiny ones. *.*

Favorite Pokemon...I can't pick one, but all of my favorites are included in my Pokemon dreamteam. Raichu, Umbreon, Houndour, Lugia, and Suicune.

Favorite music...I like most of the battle music...but just what kind of music are you talking about? Music only used in the anime, or ALL music, which includes the songs on the OSTs? If so, then I've got a lot of favorite music...@_@
 
i have about 600 - 800 pokemon cards

my fav would be scizor... even though i cant use him

One of the cards that I would've like to use is Kirlia (sp?), I don't have Ralts though. I only got a few packs of the Advanced series and then stopped getting them.
 
This is a cool thread... I've been a pokemon fan for about five-six years now. I like all the aspects of pokemon but have only collected the cards up to Jungle-Fossil expansion (very long ago... though I loved the TCG GB game, since it let you collect and play with rare cards without have to spend hundreds of dollars). I only properly played the RPG games up to Gold/Silver, and I'm following the dub anime on TV (middle of Advance Challenge).

Favourite pokemon is Fearow! as you can see from my name and avatar. I also like all the bird-looking pokemon, like Blaziken and Skarmory and spikey electric pokemon like Zapdos and Jolteon.

Current music I adore is from the 5th movie! It somewhat reminds me of music from the anime Noir. And I like the J-poppy Secret Garden. Of course the ending Hitori-botchi Janai is excellent too.
 
Can you lower the age to thirteen because i'm about to be thirteen and being teased about still liking pokemon. my only friends (at school) are kids who also like pokemon and so we band together whenever the bullies try to push one of us around
 
Seth, everyones welcome. Relly, this thread is freelanced. It was made mostly for people like you, and well anyone who feels they get disriminated against for loving pokemon. Put simply, its a morale booster, that lets you know your not the only one out there.
And if anyone is harrasing you, and you feel you can't defend yourself, keep tabs with the court system, let someone know they're bothering you, and get a cell phone (if you can afford one) just in case it gets really bad.
This entire post is for EVERYONE, just as this topic is for everyone.

After they said that we couldn't bring them to school anymore, we I used to sneak them in. With no one around where I live liking Pokemon, my cards collect dust. But I'm willing to play against another Pokemon card player someday. :rambo:
 
Beleive it or not, around, like, 6 years after it came out in America, there are STILL card tournaments, usually at nearby big cities. Milwaukee, WI sometimes hosts them, but I can never get there. Usually, I play online with a web-cam with someone who has a deck still.
 
whats weird is the people who like yugioh in my school are popular and theyre like those fourteen yearolds who go to walmart with their mom and beg for the cards
 
Tch. There were never any tournaments in my country... an' few ppl knew how ta play anyway... T_T
I have around 430 cards an' I would've had even more if they would've actually SOLD original ones in my country. *sigh* now I'm only stuck with a buncha counterfits mixed up with originals I got from relatives in foreign countries. Tch, this sucks. >_<
I don't have my fav pkmn Charizard on TCG cards either, an' now it looks like I'll never get it, since all my TCG sources were cut off years ago. T_T
Last TCG game I played was in spring 3 years ago(I lost it XD) an' I had an offer for a challenge just this spring but it involved bringin' tha cards into tha hi-school so... meh.
However, I still play pkmn on my GBA during classes. ^_^
 
i cant find any of my cards but my favorite song is when you go to verdanturf in r/s
it made me go to sleep one time

How many Pokemon cards: Uh... about 500, but a lot are dupes or just crummy. I have that once-expensive Charizard though. Eh... I still play, but I don't know if the deck is actually allowed to have older cards in it, and my only opponents are my brothers, who have to borrow Energies from me all the time. I haven't bought any packs recently.

Playing with a webcam doesn't sound like half-bad of an idea.

Jynx, I get the same thing. I go to the store or something and buy Pok?mon stuff and whoa, you would not believe the number of variations on "a strange look". I can't help it, the plushies are so cutie-wittles *glomps one*

ME JOIN? I am fifteen and there are maybe 7 people my age who like pokemon. It sucks. But hey we have something to talk about.

heh, i also cant use my blastoise or nidoking because i "lost" my nidorinos and wartortles, theres more but im too lazy to find em
