The Older Generation Pokemon Lovers (Older Generation of People Around 15-Adult)

Nice club, it's for reflections and sentimentality, no?

I'm seventeen and have been a fan since the tender age of ten. I suppose I'm qualified.

Favorite pokemon? It's changed from time to time. It's gone from Charizard to Dragonite to Tyranitar to Suicune to Dunsparce to Shuckle, currently. I've learned to turn my back on the pokemon that are popular with the younger generation (i.e. Mewtwo, Deoxys, Rayquaza, basically anything legendary or well-advertised.)
 
Well I've got no social troubles because of being an older pokefan, in fact, i have many friends who take it well, but I feel sorry for those who get teased or bullied because of that
 
I'm actually respected for my fandom now, whereas I was tormented long ago for it. I actually went to a school dance in full Team Rocket regalia and was praised for it.

Favorite form of pokemon: mines the Games and the anime. The games because there are hardly any good RPG's out any more and i consider the pokemon games very good ^_^. The anime: well it was the first anime that i got obsessed with, and i still love it!

Good morning everyone (morning for me anyway). Not too much action happend since last night, I guess. Only two posters after me, so on to the next topic:
How many Pokemon Cards Do you own, And which is you 'Prized Possession' out of them?
Myself, I own just short of 1K, and I have a First Edition (Base Set) Charizard. Very Rare, Very Valuable, Not made anymore. I even gave it its own sleeve so it doesn't become damaged.
 
Well I don't own alot of Pokemon Cards being as they are hard to come by in the UK ><. as for my fave pokemon, they are Blaziken, Dragonite and Pidgeot. Pidgeot has been there since the start I loved it from the first gmaes and the start of the anime, when I got it on my Red and Blue versions ^^

I never exactly got anything as rare as a first edition Charizard, but I do own a few (among probably 10,000) good pokemon cards...I have complete collections of Base Set through Gym Heroes, and I have near-complete collections of Gym Challenge-Neo Destiny, after which I stopped collecting. My rarest cards actually come from an incredibly rare two-player Japanese starter set that came out at the beginning of the TCG in Japan. It even came with an instructional video that has Imakuni? in it.

so great to see another pidgeot fan! him and pifgeotto, they are sooooo cool, better then the legendaries any day of the week,a nd I mean that!, except maybe serebi, he is the ONLY legendary I like, mainly cause he is a grass pokemon ^^
 
hmm, as always its ok, nothing to join. Tell your friend to come too, the more the merrier. As well, I'd like to say that I'm not the only one who has to think of topics. You all can, too. Anythign that comes to mind really, it doesnt have to be on topic even.

Favorite Pokemon: Bulbasaur without a doubt. Followed by Quagsire.

Favorite Music: Any of the Route Music from R/B/Y, The Rival music from R/S/E and the opening to G/S/C

How many Pokemon cards do I have: Alot. I've honestly don't know. Rarest card has to be the Golden Magikarp card. Or my promo Kygore.
 
I had over 500 Pokemon cards the last time I counted (and that was a long time ago, lol).

Anyway, I think my rarest cards are probably all the Shining cards I have from the Neo Destiny set (I have 4 of them, and there's a total of 8, I think).

Can I join ,I been a Pokemon fan since it first started.I like Fire Pokemon as u can see from my avatar. I still like and enjoy the show and the games,never got into the cards. Dang I feel old! I going to be 20 in two months
