Well to tell you the truth I think, like others have already pointed out, Green would be the one who'd be reluctant to go to any school event frankly because he sees them as a waste of time and energy. However I'm sure Blue would nag him about taking her to the point where he just gives in to stop her (I'm sure Blue has him tied around her finger most if not all the time). So Green pretty much doesn't have any say in the matter it really all depends on Blue and I'm sure she wouldn't pass up the chance to be crowned prom queen.

Topic, let's see...Green might actually invite her to go, I think. Blue might not be expecting it, so she'd feel all depressed, and then out of the blue (NOO!!! UNINTENDED PUN!!! *Shot*) Green could be like, "Well, what's wrong? Aren't you coming?" And that'd make Blue all happy and they'd go and have a wonderful time. Like slow dancing and a sweet night kiss at the end. <333
 
The comic was so cute! I love the fact that Blue and Green had to prove to Silver that they liked/loved eachother. I just loved it overall so thank you very much clover. Oh and I agree with you, it was like he was giving Blue away.
 
As a co-owner I say: could we avoid one-liners and try to add some substance to our posts? (Even though small posts do keep the thread going, quality always prevails over quantity ;D) Also, I'd appreciate it if everyone would write their posts in good English, so with capital letters and all. 99% of the people do that, but to the 1% that doesn't: it can be a bit tiring to read it otherwise. Hope you get that. :)

As a member of this club I say: cute comic indeed! :D I loved Silver's cameo <3 How he was all hostile at first towards Green, but came to terms later as he realised that Green was serious. (I had hoped for a kiss or something, but... xD) I think Silver would definitely give Blue away at the wedding, hmhmh :) [And as for Green's side, it would be Professor Oak. -shot-

No doubt about it that Blue and Green would become Prom King and Queen. I mean, who better? They're born to rule ;D

Not really Oldrival, but since it features one of the pair... What do you guys think of Green's new clothing in HGSS? I sure hope they'll make it look great in the manga! And that Blue will get a new set to wear as well, even though Leaf probably doesn't appear in HGSS...

Green's clothing? It's okay, but I hope his hair stays the same.
It would be cool if Blue got something new, but what would it be???

Although, has it been confirmed that there's going to be a continuation of the manga?
The title of the last Emerald chapter threw me. Usually epilogue means end of story.
Of course there is the Diamond, Pearl & Platinum storyline... I'm just a confused mess, ignore me.

Yes, it is confirmed there will be a HGSS storyline in the manga! It'll probably appear after the D&P volumes. So that means: appearances of Blue and Green! :D Kanto plays a role in the Johto games, after all. (Thank God it does! ;D)

As for Green's clothing: I'm not really fond of the colour of his pants, it looks too much like his hair. But since the manga is printed in black and white, it doesn't matter that much. At least this is more a kind of clothing I can see Green wearing voluntarily. (Purple, really? I mean, it's eye-catching and all, but... not really the kind of colour a guy like him would buy, I think XD) The shirt / vest is good, though. And... yes, he'll just look awesome. :3

What do you guys hope for the HGSS storyline? Oldrival-wise, I mean?
 
I don't know how to answer that, because, really, I pretty much agree with you -- Leaf won't be making a cameo in HG;SS.
And, since the game is Johto-wise, I see more Crystal/Gold/Silver (romantic) galore than I see Blue/Green. But you never know, because Red always manages to attach himself to the other holder's troubles, and he always takes Blue and Green with him.

Although, in the Johto arc there was little cameo on the other holder's part, was it not?


And yes.
Green's outfit is smexy. >:}
 
I think it's really stupid that Leaf doesn't get a role in HGSS. That's what I really hoped for, but alas...

Still, I'm sure Blue will get a role in the new arch, because Silver and Green and Red will too - she can't lag behind, of course! The Kanto Dex Holders had a pretty big role in GSC, I must say. I think it will be around the same here - they'll probably get a big role near the end, when everyone teams up. But perhaps you see Green in his gym in-between. Tee-hee. <3

(But I have to agree with Manhattan that it will be mainly GSC shippings that will be shown... well, I don't mind. They can have their spotlight too, for once ;D)
 
Honestly? I don't like his revamped outfit. (And it seems like I'm the only one who doesn't.) But I didn't like it when he appeared with his outfit from G/S/C in that arc, either...So I think it's the jackets that bother me. Call me weird, but I liked him better in the cape and with that black shirt and wrist bands. <3

I am kinda disappointed that Leaf wasn't shown, but I guess it couldn't be helped. They've already made so many changes to the game, it would have been a little difficult to insert something gender specific in there. But Blue will be back in the arc, don't worry. She was back in G/S/C with a slightly changed outfit, so why shouldn't she back in HG/SS? (But I will freak if she doesn't. Especially if Red and Green show up, but she doesn't. >.<)

-Coughs loudly- You guys should not have mentioned that possibility. I am not even kidding. Today was lucky, because I have some mild self control, but if I didn't I would have gone into insane fangirl mode when it comes to the Gold/Crys/Silver possibilities. <3333 -Barely holds self back- See? So don't bring it up. Unless you want to risk world devastation. XD
 
Those purple pants just weren't right. Sorry to those that like them (and the color is my favorite color) but they just didn't seem to fit right in my mind. But I kindaa agree with you on the color of his pants, Snoaz. But since it won't be in color then it doesn't matter. And yay for the manga!

I'm worried that Crystal won't be in the manga because of the new girl that replaces her in the game.
;x; Crystal was both my favorite game and one of my favorite characters as well. Plus I like her interactions with Gold and Silver.

@ Clover: I kinda liked the cape too.
 
Liking the cape is an understatement. I loved it.

1) Cape outfit (behind contradiction...)
2) Sweater outfit (classic, and he looked good! <3)
3) Black shirt outfit (however sexy he looked wearing that, the pants killed it)
4) Jacket outfit (agree with Clover on this one. Don't like it. He has too much hair to wear skinny pants. And the jacket? Meh.)

I'll only be able to list the new outfit once I see it! Which will probably be... in more than over a year <.< Hurry up there in Japan!

And this isn't the right place to talk about Crystal and MangaQuest and stuff, so I won't do it (and not only because I'll cause a heart infact by Clover, lol.) But, to reassure Coribee: Crystal definitely won't be replaced. There'll just be a new character, but why would they replace her?! That's nonsense and only false rumours / speculations.
 
okay i'm feelin' lonely, am i the only one who liked his purple pants??? i just didn't like his sand and green outfit. i forgot what arc it was in so....
i thought you could see his outfit on the HG/SS thread?

Nah, aure, you're not alone. I didn't really mind the purple pants, tbh. (Although that may have something to do with the fact that the Pokespe manga is black and white.) And did anyone else notice that Green might actually LIKE the purple? I mean, look:

-Purple sweater
-Purple(ish) cape
-Purple pants

The only time that he didn't have any kind of purple on him was during G/S/C, but that was also when he had the jacket. :/ It's not impossible. XD

Sorry, I was talking about the game version.
I guess because the female character for the Johto didn't come in until the Crystal game, they didn't add her to the revised versions of Gold and Silver. But now were off topic. Gushing about Green's clothes is were we left off, right?

I agree with the possibility of him liking purple. There was so much of it in his character designs. And I know most don't like the design of him in that green jacket, but I kinda liked it.
 
Of course Green likes purple. How strange and out-of-character it may seem. xD

And it happens to be my favourite colour~

I certainly hope Blue will get a new ouftit! Something that suits her more. A small dress (a bit like the black one) with nice shoes (but not heels, that would be a bit too much.) And no hat, of course. But if she did something else with her hair (put it up or something) I would certainly like it! :D I only can imagine Blue with long hair, though... :p
 
hmm...good point. Since she's supposedly matured throughout the manga i guess she won't be her sneaky self anymore...
i think a dress and white boots like her old self would be just fine. maybe that white jacket she had too...
