Two-Day Update (meaning everything from yesterday and today) for Kanto (Clefairy/Clefable)
Still playing as we speak, so I might either edit this update or make a new post if someone posts after me.
Spoiler:
- Got Squirtle.
- Took out Brock pretty easily due to Squirtle.
- Caught Clefairy in Mt. Moon. Grinded a bit.
- After a bit more training, defeated Misty.
- After defeating everyone in the S.S. Anne, defeated Lt. Surge.
- Made my way through the Rock Tunnel.
- Took out Gary at the Pokemon Tower.
- Defeated Team Rocket and Giovanni.
- After grinding a bit to reach level 45, I decided to evolve my Clefairy into Clefable.
- Defeated Erika with ease.
- Defeated Koga.
- Cleared out Silph Co.
- Defeated Sabrina.
- Defeated Blaine.
- Took the ferry to One Island.
- Battled some Bikers on Three Island, defeated them.
- Found Lostelle in Berry Forest.
- Returned to Kanto, went to Viridian.
- Defeated Giovanni and Gary.
- Went into Victory Road. Trained a bit before taking on the E4. Also went and got some TMs from the Game Corner.
- Lorelei was defeated pretty easily. Her Lapras was the only one semi-difficult, because it's bulky.
- Bruno was pretty easy as well. Hardest Pokemon to take down was obviously Machamp, but it took too much time trying to set up instead of going for the Cross Chop, so I survived.
- Agatha was alright, it was just PP costing.
- Lance was actually the easiest thus far, thanks to Ice Beam and Thunderbolt.
- Gary's Pidgeot went down to Ice Beam, Alakazam went down to 2 Returns, Rhydon went down to Ice Beam, Gyarados went down to Thunderbolt, Arcanine went down to 2 Returns, and finally Venusaur went down to 2 Flamethrowers. Not a hard battle at all, really.
- Clefable was level 74 at the time of the first E4 defeat.
