We might actually get to get some of Coribou's fighting abilities.

Whoa, so Monet has snow Devil Fruit powers!
Seems a little out of place with her character theme, though.
I'm guessing that it's going to be a Logia type, because she seems to be able to merge with the snow.

Classic Luffy, to do something that's genius and moronic at the same time. XD
I have a feeling the "Garbage Can" might be inspired by a scene from Star Wars...

Poor Chopper, trying his hardest to hold off steroid-crazed super kids...But then help arrives! :D
Did anyone else think that Robin looked like Hancock in the panel right before the children attack her hands?

Poor Law, gettin' beat around like a punching bag.
Vergo is using his hardening-like ability again.
I wonder when Oda will tell us what it is exatly...
Although, Law does get in a few hits himself.
I wonder exactly what "Counter Shock" does...

Tashigi/Zoro fighting together should be something to see. I don't know why Zoro couldn't take her alone; I know she's a Logia but at this point we know Zoro possesses Haki.

I love Monet's character btw. Still don't think she's actually a harpy though. Many people seem to think her wings/legs were given to her by Law (at her request)

Zoro was OBVIOUSLY holding back. Even Monet said so. He's been trained by WSS for two darn years, for god's sake. He's not gonna lose to some random logia. Although Monet's quite good. :P

Well, the flashbacks pretty much confirm she wasn't always a harpy..or whatever she is right now. I, too, feel she was given those wings and legs by law. Maybe not on her request but on Dofla's orders? She seems pretty loyal to Dofla, for some reason. If Dofla would've ordered Law to take away her arms and legs, she would've agreed. Just like she did when asked about her heart..dunno why he would give those orders in the first place though, lol. Anyway, her being what she is right now is a big mystery. And I like her due to it. :DD

Quite a lot of action in this chapter.
Not to the level of the Whitebeard War, but still.
Even the cover story has been actiony.

That poor little Mocha, but she's also such a brave girl.

A decent amount of fan service shots too.

It doesn't surprise me much that Monet has a monster form.
Her character model is the temptress woman who secretly has a dark side.
Pretty much a combination of harpy and Yuki-onna mythology.

Lol, Chopper's horn gag again; how nostalgic. :p

Of course, Sanji's other greatest weakness, a harpy/Yuki-onna mix. xD
I hope Sanji will be able to get back up again. xD

Oh neat, are we going to get to see a Zoro/Tashigi tag-team? :D

She wasn't born a Harpy, as it has been shown by several flashbacks.
I'm fairly sure that she was given her avian appendages by Law, considering how he made all those odd centaurs.

One of those epic Luffy moments. Seriously, I've recently picked up the anime and mann, the anime has some good soundtracks. When Luffy punched Clown, the song "The very very very strongest" popped into my head LOL. Well anyways, I can't wait for the confrontation of Doflamingo. Honestly one of the most interesting characters in the series. Man made devil fruits. intriguing.

Hmm, I hardly pay much attention to soundtracks, except in Bleach. XD
Maybe I'll have to look into the OP soundtracks over winter break.

The revelation os the SMILE Fruits was quite interesting.
I think the Big Mom is probably the Pirate Emperor that is utilizing a lot of the SMILE Fruits.

I can't wait for the chapter tomorrow. :)

One Piece has some epic/beautiful tracks. Mother Sea (the one that plays during Going Merry's viking funeral) is one my favorite tracks in any anime.


Anyways, is the anime really going into a filler arc based around the new film?

Great to see Law back to his overpowered self. :P His declaration at the end was pretty epic, even giving Dolfamingo a slight scare. Gets me quite excited for whatever the upcoming arc may be.

Still don't think Vergo is completely done though.

Wow Caesar really can take a punch. o.0
If he wasn't a Logia DF user, he probably wouldn't still be alive.
His Gastille attack was actually cool.
I wonder what color it will be in the anime.

Ahahaha, Kinemon finally realized that the dragon he cut down could have been his son.
But luckily we know that it wasn't. ;p

I wonder who Usopp was planning to use the sea-prism stone 'cuffs on, hmm...

And the second half of the chapter is just epic battles! 8D
Vergo was very intimidating when he went full-body Haki.
It reminded me of how intimidating Akainu can be.
But then Law steps up a notch on the bad-*** scale by bifurcating Vergo, and the whole mountain! :O

Law sort of confirmed what I've heard before, that there'll be a huge war near the end of One Piece that will dwarf the Whitebeard War.

Only two episodes and I'm already loving this arc! :D
It seems good enough to be canon.
Maybe Oda's had a hand in writing up the plot for it.

Lily is a neat character. :)
A giant that ate the Mini Mini Fruit...
Apparently this concept was done before in a OP video game, but I doubt anyone will care much. xD
And like most OP females, she's quite pretty.

I also like Shuza as a character.
It's cool that he's a really strong Long-Arm tribesman.
His pet Alpacacino is odd and funny; has a better laugh than Shuza.
I haven't read anything about the One Piece: Film Z, so 576 was an interesting episode.

I can't wait for more of this arc, and One Piece: Film Z!

Chapter 692

I really liked this chapter. Luffy's attack was devastating. Caesar, even in his super-shinokuni-powered mode, couldn't do a damn thing other than try to tempt Luffy into joining him but was, ultimately, blasted away by Grizzly Magnum. And law. I love how serious Law is when he's talking to Luffy. And Luffy's in troll mode. XD;

Baby 5. Goddammit she's hot. And those HUGE guns. I think I'm in love. ;A; Buffalo is alright, I guess. Seems like everybody saw Luffy defeat Caesar. Luffy's gonna be well known even in New World pretty soon, I guess. And wonder what Killer was thinking in that panel? He probably thought about how they should try allying them with Strawhats after seeing what Luffy was capable of. ALSO, I could see a lucci look-alike in the shadows.

All in all, great chapter. Loved Baby 5 and Buffalo's entry. Pumped to see their interaction with Franky. :]

Yay, a new color spread!
Oda always makes neat color spreads. :)

I thought Luffy's attack was just going to be called "Double Elephant Gun".
But after looking closer I see that it is a bit different.
Grizzly Magnum seems to be a variation of Gum-Gum Bazooka.

I love how all the shadow spectators saw Luffy blast Caesar through the wall. XD
Pekoms and Tamago were watching, and so was Killer.
One of the shadow spectators in this chapter looked kind of like Rob Lucci.
I wonder what the Lucci look-a-like and horned man in the bottom right meant by their comments.
I forget, have there been any other shadow spectators that we know of, or might look familiar?

Kinemon...that fool. :/
I'm sure Chopper will find some way of restoring him.

Law's right, he shouldn't have given Luffy all that responsibility alone. XD

I never thought Oda would make a Devil Fruit like Baby 5's Buki Buki no Mi.
It just doesn't seem to fit in as well with the One Piece themes.
I thought most weapons were supposed to be based in the Georgian Era (1700's & early 1800's).
But that was thrown awry when Oda introduced cyborgs and laser beams.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of weapons Oda creates for Baby 5.
Although, it does seem like he's trying to blend modern weaponry with the flintlock theme on some of Baby 5's weapons...

Buffalo, is just weird...what is he even spinning? o.0

And it ends with a tease to a fight between Franky and Baby 5 & Buffalo. :D

Chapter 693 - "Please Die":

First, talking about 693 - Monet. ;; Goddamn, Monet is so freakin' loyal to Dofla. The sentence that she uttered in a past chapter "Dofla will kill me if I fail" almost made it seem like Money is actually working for Dofla just because he's gonna kill her if she doesn't do as he says. But, as it turns out, she's actually completely loyal to him. Even goes as far as being ready to kill herself for her 'young master'! <3; Now that's some strawhat level loyalty right there. Anyway, yeah, I thought Monet would go down before pressing the switch. Caesar has a heart that he considers to be smoker's. But I thought it could be monet's. Law could've changed them anytime, you know. :p And Franky's really holding off B5&Buffalo! He's suuuuper strong, as I thought! :DD I mean, holding off two of Dofla's personal crew members? That's gotta be a hard task. But Suuuper General Franky does it no problem! :DDDD

Chapter 694 - "A Very Dangerous Man!":

No, goddammit. I thought Monet would be stopped. NOT KILLED! I don't want her to die. Her character actually has QUITE a lot of potential. I mean, she's really mysterious and a colorful character in general. ;; But yeah, turns out Caesar actually had Monet's heart and he stabs it stopping Monet in the process. Monet didn't blow the island up which worried Dofla. NOW THE BIG BADASS IS GONNA TAKE CARE OF MATTERS HIMSELF OMG! <333 Just look at that guy approach PH. Holy crap. He looks badass. And he's probably gonna mess some people up now. The wait for the next chapter JUST got more difficult. ;;

I feel a little bad for Monet.
Law is a pretty sneak bastard, definitely Chessmaster material.

I'm sure there's a Trope for a big bad (Doflamingo) coming to the battle field (Punk Hazard) in person, but I can't think of it at the moment.
What the heck is he even riding on?! o.0
I'm on the virtual edge of my seat, wondering what'll happen next.
