Problem is, we haven't worked on the game at all yet, its all been conceptual work.
I'm going to try and make a banner tonight, heh.

If anyone here's good at graphics editing, here's a task for you. The link to the DWDS battle sprites was given a few pages back. We need to convert them into a different format. Here's the specifics:
-Each battle sprite has 5 frames - 3 idle frames, an attack frame, and a hurt frame.
-The 3 attack frames go in a certain order, which is 1->2->3->2.
-The format needed will have all 5 frames next to each other.
-Each frame of a Digimon must be the same size. The size doesn't matter, as long as all a Digimon's frames are the same size.
-Try and make the frames as small as possible without cutting any of the Digimon off.
-Align the position of the Digimon in every frame; a good idea is to keep the feet in the same place.
-Then, copy and paste all 5 frames into a single image, making sure you don't mess up the alignment.
-The finished picture's width must be divisible by 5. If it's not, you've done something wrong.
-A program which supports layers is helpful for aligning each frame.
-Save as .png!
So, anyone want to do a few? If you do, post examples here so I can check that you're doing it right.

wow that sounds real difficult to do especially since there a lot of digimon battle sprites. :D

As was agreed earlier, we will use the RMXP RTP animations. It saves us a lot of work.

Okay, after reading through the thread and probably forgetting half of it, here's what I think:
Tiles
We're probably sticking with the official ones from DWDS. Of course we'll have to make some of our own but I should have that covered :D
Tamer Groupies :D
We could move it into the storyline. You start at home, get an E-Mail, instead of warping into the computer maybe it can be a twist like in Digimon Frontier. How they leave on Trailmon, maybe we can have Falcomon jump out of the E-Mail and carry the player to a Peonixmon which'll knock you unconcious. Yeah? And then you'll be given a Tamer Licence, a starter, and have Veteran Tamers (Real Digidestined) walk around to train you. Later they get kidnapped by... Let's say.... Some sort of Virus.... We could always make our own villian, *goes to get a pencil and sheet of paper* and then you get joined by fellow newbie tamers to find them.
Starters
I asked this question before. Are we still going to use Tanemon, Koromon and Tsunomon? I was thinking we could use more original ideas, such as beginning with Digimon Possibly never heard before. We can even do completely new attributed Digimon. Maybe:
Koromon = DemiMeramon, YukimiBotamon
Tsunomon = Kapurimon, Poyomon
Tanemon = Missimon, Pitimon
I made 2 equivalents since Phoenixmon could take you to different districts. You could either land on a Mecha District or an Aquan District. (District meaning Region) Problem is I don't know how we can make it optional.
Digivolution
love the Kokuwamon idea. Are you just full of ideas that are better than mine? xD Anyways, I can look up all the Digimon sprited/found in Digimon World Dusk and Dawn and make proper Digivolution lines. How does that sound? All the extras I'll sprite. Or you can try too CoN~, you're pretty good ^^

VC's one is like a fusion of spikes with D3 and the Digivice Takuya in Digimon Frontier had. Wichu's one is nice and simple but kinda resemble's Season 1's Digivice without an Antennae as well as being more square. CoN~'s one reminds me of a tamagotchi :X Mind if I try making one?

Personally I don't think we should do that, simply because it's too similar to the current games.
I think the player should be on an adventure, like in the anime, not in a city full of Digimon tamers like in the games.

I don't care for the region idea too much (see: groupies), but those starters work, I guess.

Go for it, if you wanted to you could sprite every digimon ever and we'd put it in. :P
