The Pok?Community Get-together 4 - Singing Contest

He he! Thanks for all the raving reviews (especially Kairyu-kun. *hugs*). I knew that the Pokemon Theme would be my hit song!

Oh, and Mewtwo, you could put me in part two of your song. *does the newbie dance*

Making my way downtown (I just typed download) walking fast faces past and I'm homebound...

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo it lasts exactly one minute. And it's very bad, the piano sounds fairly nice but I sound like I'm 5. Or less. My singing is bad anyway. The recording makes me think of those Classic Rock songs my father listens to, where the intro is very neat and the voice just ruins it. XD I played the piano btw...

I also think that---------okay, I know you don't want to read a whole book before listening.
But I tell you it's bad!



Oh! (XP) And...and...and...the song is supposed to be "A Thousand Miles"by Vanessa Carlton. Written by Vanessa Carlton. From the album Be Not Nobody. Recorded in------------ALRIGHT, I'll shut up now.

So I have lowered it to 2,000something KB. Let's see if it works. Bad quality..but...

Hey these songs are really good! I've been trying
to fix the computer but it'll take about 3days.

IT really sucks and so does my mike but what the heck! Timbjr or whatever your name is spelled, your the corus; its me trying to prononce your name.

U may have to turn it up; i did this when i was supposed to b asleep.

Whee! Thanks for the praise. I made up that entire rant on the spot, so it was going to be weird anyways. :]

I'm gonna try and do the Newbie Dance soon; I just got the MP3 so I'm gonna try and revamp your lyrics soon. I'm gonna have to sing reeeally fast towards the end, it gets faster and faster. xD

Sheez Rifted, are you planning to publish that song? Cause I think you won the contest by a landslide, but that's just me! What kind of recording program do you use? The quality is superb! And that intro was a nice touch, lol.

Well I'm currently in the process of thinking of lyrics so sit tight, I'll get it done eventually! It's more than likely not gonna be no where near as good as rifted's creation but as long as I get the message across it shouldn't be the case.. right? *crowd boos and throw tomatos at Kairyu* OK, ok I'll at least sing with some tone or something:P.

For now I'll just tease you all with a short sound clip of me.. voice *gasp!* Reason I'm doing this is to test to see if I can actually upload a file I hosted (as well as testing the quality of the clip.) Umm well, happy testing! And let me know if you heard it too! kthxbye!

It works for me! Kairyu, I loved how you used that SMRPG song. o.o Reminds me of good times. You're thinking up a song? I'd love to hear it! (BTW, your sound mixing was great.) :]

I've enjoyed most of the songs posted..I'm gonna try and record something before V-day and get it up on here..I'm trying to find a good instrumental to use..Hightop's song..soon to come.
 
Alright, so I didnt record anything. Can anyone recommend some software for like, adding your voice in to a song? Is there EVEN one?

Yea, you should be able to find it like this: Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder

If that doesn't work than I don't know, you better ask someone like Kairi then. ^.^;;
