Anyways, the end of the month is dawning soon, and I suppose that the contest will end when March rolls by?

I haven't gotten my new song done yet...I recorded one, but after a few listen-throughs, I realized that it stunk. o.o;

Ooh! Ooh! Don't judge yet! Here is my thing, it took me ages to find time to record it. I was going to mix it/sequence it, but no time... so there's no music to it. My microphone doesn't have very good sound, sorry. If you can't tell (because my voice is so bad), it's supposed to be My Immortal by Evanescence.

And the file took SOOOOOO long to upload... I can't be bothered recording more because of upload time. Even though I reduced the filesize to *checks* 64k. And zipped it.

Because in essence, removing vocals doesn't actually remove the vocal track, it pretty much just reverses one of the stereo channels, so the results differ from song to song. Sometimes the vocals are removed perfectly, sometimes its the drum loop, sometimes the main guitar goes out along with whatnot...you get what I mean. Hopefully. ^^;

What program can you use to remove vocals? I haven't found one. I use MIDIs instead.

Yesh, I did. =D I sang two versions of one song, since my first version sounded like I was sleeping pills. x]

I sing really good. I wish I could do this......*Sigh* but I can't. I dunno how, and I don't think I have the right equipment. I have a good voice. I'm in a choir. Yay! Must....sing...to....PEOPLE!!!! :paranoid:
This is funny! I laugh at these songs! Some are good, too. Hey Mystic Mewtwo, you don't sound all that bad. Come on, people! If I can sing, surely you can! I am a good singer. :)
 
That sounds really good Rifted. ^_^ You considered a career in singing? You sure seem to know a lot about audio, and have a pretty voice. o.o;
