The DCC isn't strictly about certain things. It's called "Chit-Chat" for a reason. It can be used to discuss anything from the romantic/pair thread chatter (Dawson said to talk about it here in the CQ&F thread), to food, to whatever. It's not an IM thing where you talk to people about the exact same thing day in, day out.
