The hands have no brains. They can't be bargained with, can't be reasoned with. They do not feel pain, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop eating until the target goes down. Shield's Pokedex entry is scary. Makes me realize why Ghetsis taught his Hydreigon frustration, and why it does max damage.

Now that Hydreigon is safe, Larvesta is next.

I could go either way with it, but I'll start with an upvote.

It is too high. When I first played BW I thought it was going to part of a psuedo legendary line, and part of the reason was the late stage it evolved at. Unova likes to have pokemon that take their time evolving like the litwick's line, deino's etc. At least Larvesta is in good company though.

Another thing interesting about Larvesta is that it tricks you into thinking that it's going to be more of a physical attacker, with the stat distribution, but then it evolves into a pokemon of great special stats instead.

It's truly a beautiful pokemon, both in it's design and also because of what it represents, the light of the sun. This solar deity-like pokemon appeared in times of crisis to save other pokemon and people from the brink of freezing to death. It's hard not to admire it.
