I like Arceus for the idea of a pokemon who is a godlike being and creator of worlds. I think Arceus, along with Palkia, Dialga and Giratina add interesting history and mythology to the Sinnoh region. The lore that finds its way into Pokémon games is one of the things that makes me want to as an adult keep playing them.

One interesting theory I once read was that R𝜒US is possibly God's hand. One of a thousand arms and hands.

It is also the leader of two trios, the creation trio and lake trio. Not to mention, it is the first Mythical pokemon to be a leader of any trio. Also the region for Pokemon Conquest is in the shape of R𝜒US.

Edit: I was too late, but since R𝜒US is so special consider this number 21!
