Which starter Pokemon is better in contests?

i go with either piplup or torchic...i like piplup since that was my starter and i kept it from evolving untill i got piplup to get the master rank in the cute contest and ultra rank in the beauty contest... and in emerald i used my torchic (again kept from evolving) and made it won some ultra rank in something i cant remember right now....

Which starter Pokemon is better in contests?
As I said in other club, it really depends on how they are trained, and what their trainer wants to do with them. Judging on looks alone, I would say that the Johto starters seem to be the most versatile in their moves that they could handle the battling and the display competitions. Of course, that's just for their final stages. For the first stages, they all work.

Well, it really depends on the Pokemon...but to beat Beauty Contest (sorry, no have D/P..xD) I think Torchic will suit well, or maybe any Fire type Pokemon will do...

hmm.. I guess I would use treecko. But maybe mudkip is better. I dunno. I had mudkip in my previous game and I think it did better in contests than my treecko I have now. Or maybe I haven't been in contests too many times in this game...
