I am stating my opinion on what this thread's poilicy should be. Lately, I've seen bashing of teams, "Contructive" criticism, and...stuff that puts people down. I mean, we don't want to fill anyone's heads with hot air, but if we're going to state our opinions, let's do it like civilized folks. Like this:

Guest: Hi there! This is my team! Etc.
Member: That team does look original, and very powerful for in-game, but I'd recommend using different Pokemon when in rooms such as the WiFi room. Your team has some weak points, and any trainer will take advantage of that if they can. Keep working at it.

Something like that for comments from now on.

i see it all the time too. "wow that ______ sucks. its horrible."

Any time I comment on a team, I usually offer constructive criticism and I'm usually fair with my ratings. Then there's other times, I see total nobos posting out of the line crap.

Personally, it should be a rule stating that if you don't know at least a tiny bit of the metagame, don't give criticism on the team at all.

    I agree!

Hear, hear. It's strategy and the right Pokemon and moves that win battles, not just walls.

    yeah.
And ppl if you make a thread, listen to most suggestions.

    Don't be:

Person1: I think your team is weak against ground, maybe a water type.
    Thread maker: No
    Person2: I think Gengar shouldn't have Nightmare.
    Threadmaker: No

I've seen a lot of people like this lately.

Rodger dodger. It's just that when I posted my team, noboyd offered any replacement Pokemon.

I'm sorry, but what is the purpose of this thread? It should be on Other Disscusions. I agree, there is a bit of bashing-check out that locked thread.

I'm just trying to think of a way with some friends on how we can help Pokemon Trainers out without crushing their desire to play Pokemon.

I've seen way too much of this, and it truly annoys me. If one is unable to help, the they shouldn't try. Know the basic rules and some common movesets first, or your just hurting the person that your trying to help.

And too many over sensitive thread makers. I often see people get mad and hyped up when there team is getting fixed. They need to stop that. If you can't take critisism, don't ask for help.

OK, but I'd also like to point out that besides walls, there are Pokemon, that when matched with the right moves, can be terrors in battle. Example: A person has a Carnivine with a bad nature and moveset. If replacing the Carnivine, put another Grass type in its place like Torterra with it nature, item, and moveset.

    Torterra Item: Life Orb
    Adamant nature
    Wood Hammer
    Crunch
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
