The Professor Discussion Thread

    I couldn't find a thread to discuss all the Professors from the anime series.
    Since I started re-watching the anime, I have only been exposed to 3 Professors so far.

    Professor Oak is always going to be one of my favourite Professors, he takes a light-hearted approach and he has been there from the start.

    I also quite like Professor Ivy from what I've seen so far ;) She can tame my Gyarados anyday!

    As a starting discussion point, which professor is your favourite? And why?

    Or feel free to discuss other things about the Professors, I'm just trying to set the ball rolling :D
     
    Professor Oak/Ookido-hakase is a riot. I love him. xDD His poems are quite charming as well!

    I also loved Jouto's professor. His arguments with his teacher were great!
     
    I like Prof. Oak as well because of his extensive knowledge of Pokemon. I also like Prof. Rowan because he worked with Oak at several points.
     
    Oak, anime-wise. Cause he rocks. Eventhough Gary is his grandson, he does not show favoritism. And he survived 5 generations! Unlike Brock who was gone during the orange islands saga, Oak survived until this day.


    OAK ROCKS.
     
    Professor Oak has to be my favorite (anime wise) But whenever I picture him in the anime at random times, I always see him getting hugs by Ash's Muk. It makes me smile everytime I think about it :]
