The Player Search System, or the PSS was the online hub for the Generation VI games. It was simple, and easy to navigate. You'd be able to see who was online, and tap the person's PSS icon to initiate communication with them. You can also leave a person a "nice" or "congrats".
This obviously didn't carry over to Gen 7, as it was replaced with the Festival Plaza.
Did you use the PSS? What did you think of it? I've always been fond of it, and it's one of the few things I felt Gen VI got right. Online play has gone downhill since the removal of the PSS, and I hate thinking that's as true as it is.
