Crits, crits, crits, and even more crits are all I dealt with in the final battle. I swear, that's the only thing I don't like about Gen 1, but I luckily survived without going completely nuts. Anyway, without further delay, let's get on with the final team stats.

Two are daytime only, but I can just change the in game time at the start of the game so I can get a Sentret right away, and Corsola will be a bit of a challenge since I've never used one before. I'll have to use one eventually for my Gen 2 solo runs, so the earlier I use one, the better.

[Fourth The Tyrant]

Finally got around to playing my X again. So, update time! Now, where was I..? Ah, of course.

Spoiler:

-Made my way to Lumiose City and battled the professor, taking a charmander whom I boxed. Left for Camphrier town.
-Bobbled along to Camphrier, meeting a Lucario along the way. He likes me. :3 Aqua Lotus evolved along the way into a Frogadier. Did Parfum Palace (Man, for some reason I hate that place...) and defeated the Snorlax.
-Kept moving, leveling up steadily along the way and visiting the Battle Chateau. I'm a Baron. I feel special.
-Made it to Ambrette Town, excited to move on to my second gym! But, wait, I have to go rescue a fossil researcher first. Grumble, grumble...
-Backtracked to the Glittering Cave, working my way through the twisty corridors. I wondered if there was a better way to deal with the rock types, then remembered I found a leaf stone somewhere! Proceeded to evolve Vintage into a Simisage. Nice hair.
-Made my way through to the heart of the cave, and sweet peter on a popsicle stick! Team Flare! Vintage delivered some serious beatdown, we rescued the fossil guy (gaining a jaw fossil in the process) and hoofed it back to Ambrette Town.
-Started off to Cyllage City at last, pausing only to revive my fossil before I went. Who knows, coulda been shiny, right? No dice. Boxed the Tyrunt and left.
-Cyllage at last! I wanted to grab my badge, but decided to catch my fourth party member first. I trucked in the grass until I found a snubbull, catching it and naming it Beast.
-Spent some time putting Beast up to par with the rest of my team, and she evolved after two levels. That was quick...
-Got bored while grinding and decided to wondertrade that old Tyrunt. Off he went and was traded for... A sawk?! What are the odds of that?! Sure enough, a level 11 sawk migrated from Unova. What luck. Party member #5. Trained him up to the rest and made for the gym.
-Sawk destroyed the gym, and we wasted no time in making for the next city. Beast terrorized some Team Flare along the way, and we passed through Geosenge with hardly a stop. There's that Lucario again, given a thorough fleecing by Ravage, but handsome nonetheless...
-Decided I could wait no longer, and traded my boxed charmander for a Spinarak named Azrael. Trained his weak butt up as we went through Reflection Cave, and he evolved into Ariados, still doing just ok.
-Made it to Shalour City, and headed fo the Tower of Mastery. Only one Mega Bracelet, so I battled Serena for it and beat her handily with Vintage taking out one and Ravage cleaning up. With that win, the precious Mega Bracelet is mine! What? I have no pokemon who can Mega-Evolve, you say? Shh, don't sweat the details.
-Went to the gym, with Vintage falling short and Azrael racking up a surprising number of knock-outs on the gym trainers. Then it was Korrina, and Ravage once again cleaned house.
-Went BACK to the tower of mastery, climbing to the top to battle Korrina again, this time with Mega-Evolved Lucarios. Mine was magnificent, beating hers soundly. It wanted to join me, but alas. No room in this party for you, my friend. I left it there, with a promise to come back for it after I become Champion.
-Left off there for now.

Got my battery fixed so I restarted the game, named myself Jak, my rival is Daxter again, and I named my starter after my boyfriend. It's one of his favorites. Good thing I didn't even have a badge when my battery blew on me, haha. I would have been mad. Anyway, just trained Jarrett a ton, fought Bellsprout Tower, and then defeated Faulkn-, er I mean...Albert (how did they get that idk why not alBIRD haha no sorry). I'll be searching for my next party member soon, thankfully. Jarrett is lonely.

Thanks Fourth, great team. Can't get Victreebell in Fire Red so playing Leaf Green instead.
Lapras is the only one of the team I have ever used before so should be a good challenge.

Update:
Cleared Brock's Gym and Mt Moon easily with my Squirtle and then defeated Grunr (Rival) and the bridge posse. Caught my first team member Eostre (Bellsprout) Lv12 so i can say farewell to my Lv24 Wartortle. Then finally got an Abra to trade for Mr. Mime after the S.S.ANNE.

My Challenge in LeafGreen is going well. I now have 4/8 badges and 4 of my 6 team members.
Just defeated the Gaming Corner, and moving onto POkemon Tower and Sliph Co to get Lapras.
Current team is: TYR(Hitmonchan) Lv30, DAGR (Flareon) Lv30, Eostre (Weepinbell) Lv33 and the powerhouse MIMIEN (Mr. Mime) Lv37.
Been a good run so far, it has been a long time since I have used a psychic type and I forgot how powerful they are. Looking forward to my last two members joining.

Actually, can I get a completely different team? Carracosta is only available postgame, I can only get Lilligant by trade, and Bisharp, Eelektross and Chandelure are only available about half way into the game.

Crobat - Zubat can be found in most caves

Tyr (Hitmonchan) Lv49 - Thunderpunch, Strength, Ice Punch, Sky Uppercut

Mimien (Mr. Mime) Lv53 - Magic Leaf, Psychic, Calm Mind, Thunderbolt

Was a good run never realized how powerful Mr. Mime was. With him and Lapras the Elite 4 and Gunr my rival were taken out with hard hitting power. A fair few potions were used as well but I was a little under leveled. Will be starting my Ruby random run soon. Might take a while is an interesting team, I have used Gyarados, Dodrio and Swellow before which is a plus.
