I started with the worst Pokemon ever after being robbed of having the greatest. It's a good thing Vaporeon was given to me. After searching for a Rattata, the one I found killed my stupid Pikachu. I found another and caught it, appropriately naming him PikaKiller. But he's more like OnixKiller because we just beat Brock. Nobody messes with Rattata, man.​

•Went through the electric cave. I really dislike the electric cave.
•Got needlessly pulled in the only direction I could go
•FLushed Plasma out of said electric cave
•Kicked N in his stupid face
•Went up the celestial tower
•Beat the stuffing out of Skyla.
•Discovered Illumise with Charge beam is still really nice to have.
•Went through Another cave.
•Unova. Pls stahp with the caves.
•Ran around in the marsh a bit. Stomped some stunfisks.
•My entire team made the ice gym easy. Having Korsen and Tovara as my top two just made it laughably so.
•Got needlessly pulled in the only direction I could go. Again.
•Fought some thugs.
•Learned some stuff I already learned.
•Got swept by a Fraxure in the gym
•Got swept by it again
•Kicked its butt with a vengeance
•Learned I was developing an almost crippling addiction to Lersa's Hypnosis
•Only beat Iris due to Dragon tail's reduced priority (+4/+4 Haxorus is scary ok?)
•Kicked my stupid Rivals in their stupid butts.
•Played around on the Skyla part of the Victory road gate for like 10 minutes. Guiltlessly.
•Went into Victory road. (Caves. Getting real tired of you)
•Got to the pokemon league.
•Got swept by Grimsley's stupid Liepard. Twice.
•Eventually managed to win thanks to the crippling hypnosis addiction.
•Beat the other E4 members (Caitlin's Sigilyph? Die in a fire. IMMEDIATELY)
•Ran up the endless stairs.
•Listened to N prattle on.
•Listened to the sages prattle on
•Listened to the gym leaders prattle on
•Ran around the castle for a bit
•Threw my master ball at Zekrom because who cares.
•Sent that mother trucker to the box.
•Fought N one last time
•Illumise was demoted to glorified death fodder. I tried to use it. Really. I did. But it made a better meat shield while I revived the rest of my team.

We made quick work of the trainers leading up to Mt. Moon. Having a top percent Rattata is actually possible, because I'm livin' Joey's dream right now. I caught my next party member, Bloodsuckr the Zubat. It took a million years to get him up to speed and even still, he's not as good as Raticate...oh yeah, he evolved. That's a thing to mention. I got a Charmander from a guy that just can't raise it. Her name is Charlise the lucky Charmander who will just sit in my party, be cute, and Cut trees. Bloodsuckr evolved right after the fight with Misty which was...probably one of my smoothest runs ever. Oh, also noteworthy, I played through Mt. Moon, Nugget Bridge, and Cerulean Gym on my new Super Game Boy! It was pretty awesome, not gonna lie. You should all check it out. Til next time.​

Thanks! ^_^ I found your Challenge the most exciting one to begin with!

I'm happy with this team; I've never actually used any of these pokes in a play through before, making this very exciting!

I've decided to Trade-In an Eevee in place of my starter.
(I really want to experience only using these pokes even from the beginning, so I'll use a newly hatched Eevee that I hatched from my Pokemon X Version)

I won't be able to find Wailmer until at least Route 8, and Exeggcute until Route 12.

Seeing as all my other pokes can't be found in Pokemon Y (Other than Post-Game) I'll be trading them in individually one by one only after obtaining every badge.
After my first badge, I'll trade in Sandshrew, followed by Spiritomb, and finally Metang after my 3rd badge.

Hopefully it'll make the game a little bit more exciting!

Swoobat and Aerodactyl are both part flying, but I assumed psychic and rock would be diverse enough. If you really don't want ANY type overlaps at all, I re-rolled and got Blissey just in case.

Update #1:
I made it halfway through the game and never thought to update, so my next update will be the completion of my second challenge :D
-Named myself Umbra
-Picked Smoochum as my starter
-Caught Shroomish and threw Smoochum away
-Caught a Wurmple and got Cascoon on my first try :)
-Evolved Cascoon into Dustox 1/6 of my team
-Destroyed my rival
-Fought through Viridian Forest
-Had to evolve Shroomish because Brock is a jerk
-Breloom crushed his puny team of pebbles
-Got lost in the cave for a while
-Got my second badge
-Caught a Diglett and a Dratini
-Rubbed a seasick captain's back
-Evolved Diglett to Dugtrio and Dratini to Dragonair
-Got my third badge
-Did a bunch of stuff and unlocked Fuschia
-Caught Heracross
-Evolved Dragonair into Dragonite
-Beating up bikers to train before finishing gyms and getting Omanyte

*UPDATE*

After doing some research on Sandshrew / Sandslash, I learned that Sandslash can actually be found on Route 18!

I didn't realize this sooner, so instead of trading in a Sandshrew after the Bug Badge,
I've decided to trade in Spiritomb and Beldum after the Cliff Badge.

I have them both on my Pokemon X Version, at level 30!

So instead of using them now, I decided to wait until I got the Second Badge.
That way they listen to me lol

I can find Wailmer by surfing in Cyllage City after getting Surf,
and Exeggcute on Route 12 right after.

Now, on to the good stuff :D

I named my character Elias.
I chose Froakie as my starter, because I will need it to Surf later in the game so I can find my Wailmer!
Named it Jiraiya-Sage :D
As soon as I caught a Bunnelby I immediately traded it for my Level 5 Eevee! 8)
I forgot to name him :( So i'll be doing that as soon as I get the chance!
Got through to the first Gym and beat Viola for the Bug Badge!
Since I decided to wait on Spiritomb and Beldum, I'll be soloing with Eevee until I get the second badge.

Left Santalune City and headed through Route 4.
Arrived in Lumiose City and battled Professor Sycamore.
Chose Bulbasaur as my Second Starter!
Named him Venusflytrap :D
Left Lumiose City and headed through Route 5.
Arrived in Camphrier Town, then left for Route 7 where I found a sleeping Snorlax!
Doubled back to Route 6 and headed to Parfum Palace where I obtained the Pokeflute.
Woke up Snorlax and kicked its butt.
Went through Route 7 and Connecting Cave.
Arrived in Ambrette Town and cleared the whole Glittering Cave situation.
Obtained Jaw fossil and revived it into a Tyrunt!
Named him Chomper :)
Headed through Route 8 and into Cyllage City!
Lost a couple times to the Gym Leader, but finally came out the winner of the Cliff Badge!
Traded in my Spiritomb and Beldum over!
Thats it for now :D

Made quick work of the S.S. Anne and murdered Daxter's Raticate with my own. It was a blast. Then we did that...route by Diglett Cave that idk the number of. PikaKiller is only effective against Pikachu. Raichu will kill him. But apparently, Golbat is a Raichu slayer. Who knew? After that, we made it through Rock Tunnel without any milk light. I haven't done that in years, so that's quite a feat on my part and I'm proud I still remembered some of it! Then we skipped a bunch of trainers so that my Team Rocket duo didn't have to get any more overlevel than they already are and we finally added something to the team! Siren Song the Eevee joined us and was immediately evolved into Vaporeon. Gave her some good TM moves and she's already kicking ass and taking names, just like PikaKiller and Bloodsucker. I'm actually a bit torn. I don't like these super long names...was thinking of shortening to Killer, Blood, and Siren. What do you guys think? Let me know if you care. xoxo​

I too prefer shorter names, though lately I have been giving really long names to my X & Y Pokes with the new character limit increase!
I just prefer not having two names instead of one lol
I say go for the shortened names :D

Hey Necrum, I'm having a lot of trouble finding Cubone to trade for ROCKY the Machoke to get my Machamp. I searched about an hour or so last night and I'm searching now, but if this goes on for days, should I just use Machoke instead or get a reroll? I actually really want to use Machamp, but I don't have a way to trade and get one without the in-game trade and it would drive me nuts to use an NFE when no one else on the team is NFE (except Golbat sorta but you know). Whatever works best. As of right now, I'm still going to keep searching but in like a couple of days, I don't want to still be doing this haha.

After half an hour, I found one! lol

Also, thanks ATRS. :) I was actually thinking of shortening them anyway, since after I made that post and realized those shorter names looked a lot better. PikaKiller was just because my Pikachu kept losing to wild Rattata haha.

We foiled Team Rocket's plans in the Celadon Game Corner. We got our prize, the Silph Scope, for defeating Giovanni and we made our way through Pokemon Tower. After what seemed like an eternity, Cubone was finally found and captured. After we threw Team Rocket out of Pokemon Tower and rescued Mr. Fuji, we got the PokeFlute. Made our way back a bit and traded Cubone for RICKY the Machoke, who immediately evolved into party member #4, Machamp. Started on Route 12 to get Ricky matched up with everyone else, but once he hit 31, I realized he wasn't going to listen to me anymore. So we came back up to Celadon and just got the Rainbow Badge. Taught Blood Mega Drain as well...oh and shortened the names! You like? ;)​

• After obtaining the Cliff Badge, I acquired a Yellow Bicycle.
• Left north through Route 10 and fought through Team Flare goons.
• Made it to Geosenge Town and proceeded to Route 11.
• Entered Reflection Cave and through to Shalour City.
• I went inside the Tower of Mastery where I faced Serena.
• Went back to the Shalour City Gym and won the Rumble Badge from Korrina!
• Went back to the top of the Tower of Mastery and won me a Lucario.
• Named it Auraknight!
• I Boxed Lucario, and went east to Route 12 where I was stopped by Serena.
• She gave me Surf! I withdrew Froakie and taught it Surf.
• I cycled back to Cyllage City and started to Surf the waters until I found my Wailmer!
• Went back to Route 12 where I obtained a Lapras and named it Lochness.
• Also caught my Exeggcute!
