Quick update: I hacked in a Sneasel as my starter since none of my Pokemon are immediately available. Nicknamed her Poppy. Did all that beginning stuff and whipped my rival whom I have named Poop. Got a phone call from Youngster Joey. Then I swept right through Falkner's Gym for my first badge. Poppy is Level 13 now. I'll probably post another update tomorrow.

*IN-GAME UPDATE #4*

• After catching Exeggcute on Route 12, I continued through the rest of the Route and through Skiddo Ranch.
• I arrived in Northern Coumarine City, where I annoyingly had to take a dumb train to the actual USEFUL part of the city.
• Healed my Pokes and challenged Serena outside the City's Gym where I kicked her butt!
• Climbed the Gym to challenge and defeat the Coumarine City Gym Leader for the Plant Badge!

Some noticeable differences since my last update include some new moves learned among my Pokes as well as finding the Lucky Egg!

After leveling up RICKY all throughout Route 12, we finally made it to Fuschia City. Went to the downhill side of Cycling Road and fished up a Shellder. To match my horror-esque nickname theme, I went with Giygas for this little sea shell devil. Not that Cloyster really resembles it much, but I happened to be listening to the theme at the time I caught it. Yeah, a weird thing to listen to out of the blue, but whatever. I got a good name out of it. We fought all the trainers on Route uhhh I guess it's 13 idk and caught Giygas up pretty quickly. We went to Koga's gym and found the level spike to be absolutely ridiculous, but we pulled through without getting scathed. On to the next mission! Maybe.​

Here goes, I am playing on the "Challenge Mode" of the hack Flawless Platinum. Expect very high levels at the end!

Update #1 on Flawless Platinum.

Starter: Piplup

• Started with Piplup, then caught Cpt Falcon the Starly on Route 202 after getting Pokéballs from Dawn.
• Obtained the Poké Radar, then spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get Squirtle to appear at Lake Verity.
• Finally got one to appear, caught it, and named him Leonardo.
• Moved on through Jubilife City and defeated Barry, then continued on to Oreburgh City.
• Both Cpt Falcon and Leonardo evolved into Staravia and Wartortle before I battled Roark, who ended up being easy with Leonardo.
• Defeated Team Galactic at Jubilife City then went north to Florama Town.
• It took a couple tries to defeat Mars in the Valley Windworks, with Leonardo doing most of the work there.
• Went through Eterna Forest with Cheryl to Eterna City, then caught Blazend the Growlithe on the west side of Route 211.
• Challenged the gym, and Blazend did not do as good as I expected against Gardenia, but Cpt Falcon made up for him.
• Got a bunch of Fossils from a guy in the Underground Man's house, so I went back to Oreburgh City to revive Amalocar the Anorith.
• Back in Eterna City, I took on the T.G. Eterna Building and defeated Jupiter at the top.
• Went south on Cycling Road and explored Wayward Cave, and Cpt Falcon evolved into Staraptor!
• Moved on through Mt. Coronet to Hearthome City, and while inside the gym, Leonardo evolved into Blastoise!
• Took on Fantina, who was pretty tough, but Leonardo's Bite attack saved the day, with Alomancar finishing off her final Pokémon.
• Defeated Barry on my way to Solaceon Town, and I explored the Ruins for the Defog HM.
• Scaled the Lost Tower, and Alomancar evolved into Armaldo!
• I am now saved in Solaceon Town.

• Blastoise is Water/Steel, and has slight base stat increases to Attack (+5) and Sp. Attack (+10).
• Staraptor's base Speed (+15) and Defense (+10, from XY) are increased, and it can have Reckless as an ability.
• Armaldo's base Attack is increased by +5, and it can have Hyper Cutter as an ability.
• Cut is Grass-Type and 70 power.
• Rock Smash is 60 power with a 30% chance to lower defense.
• All attacks that had BP changes in Gen V/IV were changed to reflect that (i.e. Skull Bash, Fury Cutter, etc).

FINISHED my short run of CrystalDust (which stops after Johto League)

Spoiler:

-Skipping all parts of game used with starter
-Got my first official member at Ruins of Alph, the sole location of Unown.
-Grinded Unown to fight Bugsy.

BUGSY
Unown had one move: Hidden Power Water, which worked well well it comes down to it. The D was key in getting me to the rest of my team and beat the game.

WHITNEY
I gather my two kingpins of the team: Growlithe and Scyther. Growing frustration and a lack of evolutionary items forced me to hack in a Fire Stone to evolve to Arcanine. Unfortunately, I could not evolve Scyther due to the inability to trade or even use a Metal Coat.

Arcanine was the only reason why I ever got past Whitney, her Miltank was pure murder at this stage of the game. She hardened my team so much that the rest of the game was a cakewalk so to speak. Thank You Based Bite Flinches and Rollout Misses.

MORTY
Arcanine knew Bite, so no worries here. Easy stuff. Important note: Qwilfish is currently impossible to catch in the latest version of CrystalDust considering the Super Rod is unavailable. My alternative was the only other Water/Poison line in the game: Tentacool.

CHUCK
Scyther knew Wing Attack and recieved STAB from it, which made it very easy to win this fight.

JASMINE
Unown, Tentacruel and Arcanine were all needed to defeat Johto's Steel Princess.

PRYCE
Arcanine and Scyther did most of the job, while Tentacruel blew away his Piloswine.

Eevee--->Umbreon!!!
CLAIR
It was here that I realized the importance of Icy Wind, which slowed down the tsundere Dragon Master and her pesky Pokemon. It took three tries before I won this battle because I was strapped for cash ever since Whitney. Barely any healing items meant some luck had to kick in.

Snagged and grinded my Skarmory, having it learn Swagger and Spikes, which easily stops the unintelligent AI in Pokemon battles.

I got critical hits on a Dragonair and her Kingdra, which cut their Speed and their HP. Great combination.

-Teach all the pesky moves I could to stomp the Elite Four, get money to buy all healing stuff I needed. "Let's Go!!!"

WILL
Skarmory was my lead because it screwed with the opponent's strategy. It resisted the Psychic attacks and spread Spikes to hurt Will's 'mons when they switch in.

KOGA
Skarmory was immune to Koga's Toxic tactics and had a type advantage against his Bugs. When Skarm couldn't handle his entire team, Arcanine used Ember and burnt them to oblivion.

BRUNO
Skarmory stayed, Spiked, then Flew on his Fighting types for a few kills. Then Scyther finished with Wing Attack, beefed up by a Swords Dance. Unown neutralized the Onix with HP Water.

KAREN
Skarmory led the ultimate Stall Showdown against Karen's Umbreon. Three Spikes, then a Swagger to weaken the Umbreon. Note that the Umbreon has no Physical moves, so a strong Attack boost did not hurt me. Once Umbreon fell, I knew it was over for her. I had MY Umbreon use Quick Attack and a few other specialties.

Scyther Swords Danced until it could one-shot the rest of her team's Pokemon.

LANCE
Here it is, the unfortunate end. Skarmory led, and we took the risk of Swagger because his Gyarados only has Hyper Beam as a Physical attack; the rest were Rain Dance/Hydro Pump stuff. Fly was a blanket of protection for my Skarm, as Gyarados woukd either miss or hurt itself in confusion.

I bought time to Swords Dance with Scyther against the first Dragonite, who spammed Thunder Wave. Three Swords Dances were required, but they killed each of the Dragonites with one hit. Charizard and Aerodactyl were easily finished by Tentacruel with Surf.

And that's game; hard to believe.
