So I grabbed a fennekin and boxed it for my first pok?mon, meowth. (Meowth can't be caught in Kalos, so I just traded one over.) I Called him Jafar and made my way to the Santalune City gym and beat Viola effortlessly. (I did have to use a potion though.) I looked up what locations my other pok?mon have... Three of them are only catchable AFTER the game. I basically have to beat the game with only half of my team, then beat the elite four AGAIN. This is called a challenge for a reason though.

Pok?mon X Random Challenge: Update 2

After going through route 4, I almost got blacked out by a pidgey and make my way up to Lumiose City. I finally meet Professor Sycamore without meeting creepily in my dream and get a squirtle. (Boxed) I then spend all my money on getting a hair cut. (Most expensive hair cut I've ever gotten.) I speed through route 5, get to Camphrier town, go on a side quest that takes me to a castle, defeat a snorelax, get though that cave filled with zubats, get blacked out by a black belt with a machop on route 8 TWICE, (I desperately need another pok?mon.) then I go to Glittering cave from Ambrette town. I also bring squirtle because he can learn rock smash, which is how I can get the old amber. I then defeat team flare, (Jafar fainted, but squirtle was in my party so I had to put him on the battlefield. Serena then beats the battle for me, so I guess that a win?) and get my old amber! Here I come aerodactyl! I get that old amber purified (or what ever it's called) and get my next pok?mon! I called aerodactyl Titan, named after the prehistoric bird Titanis. It lived from 5 to 2 million years ago. (Too bad the bird was flightless.) I make my way north to Cyllage city. Finally, it's time for the second gym! Neither of my pok?mon are effective against rock types, so my strategy is to spam potions and pray. I beat Grant on the 4th try with an intense 1HP vs 1HP win. (It must take Grant hours to get his hair like that.)

NOTE: I got three of my pok?mon re rolled so that I don't have to beat the elite four twice.
New final team: Meowth, Aerodactyl, Weavile, Exeggcute, Helioptile and Kadabra.

Pok?mon X Random Challenge: Update 3

I picked up my two new members for the team. I named my helioptile Frill, named after the frilled-neck lizard (Chamydosaurus Kingii). I called the abra that I caught Hex, which quickly evolved into a kadabra. I then made my way through the next route, but Jafar tried to evolve so I needed to get an everstone. I know that roggenrola have a 50% chance of holding an everstone, so I went to that zubat infested cave to get one. I don't know why I thought you could get roggenrola there, but you can't- HOLY ARCEUS IS THAT A SHINY ZUBAT?!!? OH MY ARCEUS!!! (Catches the shiny zubat.) That was crazy! Well I guess coming here was worth it! Good news too because you can get an everstone in the next town. I travel through Geosenge Town with my heart still pounding (I'll never go back there again.) and make my way to Shalour City. (I ran out of repels in reflection cave, so I had to teach Jafar flash. It was actually useful against keeping wild pok?mon away, to my surprise.) After going through this sluggish cave,(I also almost got my whole team taken out by a trainer with a hawlucha.) I make it to the third gym! (It took a lot less time to get to this gym compared to the last gym.) My team was very stacked against Korrina because I have two pok?mon who are super effective against fighting types. I obviously sweep her team. (I'm surprised her badge wasn't the skate badge. I also am not a fan of the skates. Their only good use in my opinion is when you use them in Lumiose City.) I then finally get the mega bracelet! (I also get a lucario that gets boxed.) The good news is that for some reason Frill can learn surf, so I don't have to use a HM slave for that. Now it's finally time... MEGA AERODACTYL!!!!!
