He released all of his Rattata instead, because who needs Rattata,

Red then went onto route two then...

he started crying because he missed his rattatas and...

...he was mugged by a stranger, and left without...

Any Pokemon!! Now Red headed to Viridian forest. He would need to find a way to

 

[Zorogami]

...clear the forest as fast as possible. But suddenly...

He saw a patch of tall grass in his way

And in it was a Pokémon he had never seen before (riolu) playing a tune on a leaf.

 

[Serperion]

... and he smacked it with his fist, and it really hurt Riolu...

 

[Fading Tree]

The Riolu took a fossil out of its back. He started moving irrationally before the trainer.

The Rioulu threw the fossil in Reds face, then...

Red's face exploded.


Red got hit with it and started bleeding, so...

Red grinned, he went into his pocket grabbing a pokeball "Rat ta tat tat" Use Super Fang!

The Riolu hp was halfed

and Riolu was overwhelmed by all of the Rattata.
